Guest kristianity77 Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 The problem with Rodgers is that he cannot get us out of a slump. He's never done it here. His saving grace from the previous 2 huge slumps was an end of season break where the reset button is pressed. This season we've started with our slump and his answer is to carry on with whats not working. To what end do we endure this? He doesn't have the ability or personality to really shake things up tactically and regarding personnel. Hand on heart, for months, I've got no idea what he is trying to achieve with his style of football. He's literally stifling all of our attacking players. I watched it tonight in Zante on bein sports and the commentator really laid in to Leicester and he was absolutely bang on. When he said that Legia were happy to let us have the ball because we didn't ever do anything dangerous with it was spot on. Its atrocious football we play.

We are a long way off that scenario currently. True, and we are a long way off that. But he really, really needs a result, and ideally at the weekend. Something has got to kick start this season, we don’t want to get stuck in a rut of honking performances and poor results. 1

For the final 10 minutes we found joy on the inside right because the players 1st thought under pressure wasn't "where's Soyuncu/Vestergaard/Amartey?" Soumare played 90 minutes and looked very poor. Daka was poor. Perez looked the best of those 3 and gets pulled at 65 mins, instead of taking off a CB and leaving him on. Do you support his decision to play the way we do week in, week out? I support his decisions in general, yeah. He doesn't always get it right (who does?) and we're clearly in a slump right now. Do I think we'll turn it around? Yes Do I think he's still the right man for the job? Yes Do I think we could attract a better coach than BR? No Come back to me in January and if we're deep in the shit by then, I might change my mind. 8
TrickyTrev Benjamin Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 Who’s out there ? What are our options?
HybridFox Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 Players let him down massively but has to shoulder the blame for not changing it sooner. When you know it's not working, make a change!
Guest Lako42 Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 I don't want him gone I want us to be less ****ing boring and predictable. If he can't manage that simple request then he can **** off
adam Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 He won't get sacked because I reckon he will be off at the first opportunity. He's clearly taken us as far as he can and possibly anyone can. Imagine he will be Tottenham or arsenal manager at some point
jonny_wright Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 I don’t see it getting any better away at palace, seems like leicester will need to score 3 to win a PL game atm, cause the chuckle brothers at the back is a -2 goal start
Silver surfer 1 Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 As much as he’s won us a few things , never liked him or his donkey defence coach Toure . But it’s catch 22 we are little old Leicester who should be grateful for what’s he’s achieved and be quite . Problem is we’ve invested into his delusion of grandeur .
Rigga Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 Play your strongest line up and get the group stages wrapped up. Barnes, Vardy Maddison etc have a 2 week rest after this sundays game. you play a full season to qualify for Europe and then treat it like the league cup.. pathetic and disrespectful to all LCFC fans.. Blame BR entirely for that shambles for his insistence on boring slow passive football.. horrific to watch.. Zaha to score Sunday …. Printing money… 1

He will be looking to move on before he gets a sacking on his CV
beepee1984 Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 There is only 1 question that really bothers me Does he have the support of the dressing room? Every player (Bar Vardy) is under-performing and many don't look like they want to be on the pitch. I want Rodgers to stay, but we need to see some kind of response to this run of form
Le Renard Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 I don't see any managers out there who could replace him at the moment! 1

They certainly don't seem a happy or harmonious team 2
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 I always tend to look at the managerial situation in a certain way. As in, given the current squad of players, could someone else do better? At present, I’d have to say a big, fat, yes These players are nowhere near playing to potential
Rigga Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 When Rodgers decides it’s time to go at the end of this season, it will be Potter or Thomas Frank that replaces him imo… destined for bigger things those two are.. 1
LcFc_Smiv Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 The setup and the style of the football doesn't help. Fans are crying out to see the team fight and give it a go, but the slow build up possession football goes against that. I feel for the players theirs some creative minds in there, and some players who love to play direct and get at teams and it's as if there being told to just hold off. 1

You cannot judge on a shit start to the season. It happens sometimes, the problem is he has never shown himself capable of getting is out of a slump, that’s a worry. Nope. Not at all. Winning a Fa cup was awesome but we didn't win that because he was a strategically superior coach we won that cup because of Kasper's magical saves and Youri's wonder strike. Go find and re-read the game stat's of that game. About 2 5th finish. It was the worst football performance for 2 season in row from the so called big 6 and we really couldn't capitalise it. Simple is that. Edited 30 September 2021 by kiwiturk 1
Thefoxman Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 Been told he's pulled his kid out from school and he's moving out his house. Maybe he's off
Corky Posted 30 September 2021 Posted 30 September 2021 One win in the last 7 European games. Yes a couple of those were dead rubbers but it's a poor record.
