Muzzy_no7 Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 Rotherham and Plymouth away next year then. Spineless. 1
Popular Post BenTheFox Posted 22 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 22 September 2022 I CANNOT BELIEVE THE LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE AT THIS FOOTBALL CLUB. THIS IS PURE NEGLEGENCE. HOW CAN THEY NOT SEE WHAT ALL OF US CAN? 7
Popular Post Tomek Posted 22 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 22 September 2022 Never thought I’d get to the point where I want the ownership to sell the club, but here we are. 6

I don't think I'll be going to the Forest game, can't face it. 7

Popular Post EastAnglianFox Posted 22 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 22 September 2022 Phew, its a good job we have a mentally tough squad that are well equipped for a relegation scrap. 7

StanSP Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 So if we lose against Forest, he might be sacked but might not be. If we win against Forest, he most definitely won't be sacked. What a glum old time for our club 2

Finnegan Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 Atmosphere at Forest is going to be an experience. 4

Lcfc098 Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 Tops lost his head. Maybe he wants the fan backlash as a reason to sell the club anyway 1

The last sentence is Rodgers ‘might’ get one more chance… weird times, we literally have no idea what is going on nor who is making the decisions - Top yes will have final say, but who knows what the rest of the board are saying / thinking. 2
foxfanazer Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 How to ruin a football club in a few years 1
ozvaldo Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 When Forest beat us, (and they will), it's going to be vile down there. And by then the damage will have been well and truly done, so we'll end up bringing in a shit foreign manager, who can't speak English but is prepared to lead us in the Chammo with a team mainly made up of academy players, as we're financially ****ed. But we'll have a great stadium, and at least we've got bomber jackets. Well played, The Board. Great work. **** off.
Popular Post Pliskin Posted 22 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 22 September 2022 (edited) Pathetic decision. I’m not even going to bother going to Forest….. I’ve never ever known of an organisation who’s backed one of their employees who’s conduct has been as bad as his has. Openly criticised the board Openly thrown players under the bus Openly criticised the fans Constantly moaning about lack of transfers shifting the blame onto the club Freezing out the clubs assets I.E Cags and damaging their worth Making decisions to the detriment of the club Talking down the club by suggesting it was a none competitive club prior to his arrival. Not to talk about his constant moaning could translate to the players and they think he clearly doesn’t rate them. The whole situation is a complete farce, the bloke doesn’t even want to be here anymore, and he’s taking the piss out of the club whilst he stays. Genuinely gobsmacked, we will get shat on by Forest. because this spineless bellend have sucked ever inch of life out of that team. Edited 22 September 2022 by Pliskin 10 1
foxfanazer Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 I can't even allow myself to be upset about it anymore. It's clear that the feeling of the fans isn't of any importance and the decision makers at the club are way out of their depth running a Premier league club 1
ARM1968 Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 It’s a nothing statement by Tanner. He has no idea and is just guessing in my opinion. However, his guess is likely correct. IF Brendan can’t manufacture a win against Forest then surely we are done and so is he. 1
Aleksz Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 Really is tough to remember a manager getting THIS many chances in the modern era.
moore_94 Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 Just seems like an assumption/guess from Tanner to me rather than any actual confirmation Last line of the tweet is literally “Brendan Rodgers might get one more chance, but he has so many problems to solve” So he MIGHT be getting a chance 1
Diffco Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 The wanton disassembly of the club and standards is possibly the final nail in the coffin for football for me. What a bag of utter wank the whole situation is. How do you spend £160m on facilities and sit by while it all crumbles around you, so obviously. Utter bollocks.

Coming round to the idea of having him there for this one and I recon the club know what they are doing. Brendan gets absolute pelters and quits where 50% of the fan base pick up a ban for the season and the club get some more funds through re selling their tickets. Wins all round. 1
