Remember when we won 2 games in a row and everyone was on their high horse about backing Brendan and how he was perfect?

 

Are we allowed to continue to point out his negatives over the past 2 years again now? 
 

His time here has been one huge disappointment. He’s got us one FA cup which was fantastic and is the only thing he rightly deserves credit for.
 

Everything else has been a failure. On paper, two top 5 finishes look great. In reality, that was two failed top 4 finishes. Our European campaigns have been laughable, whimpering out of Europe twice. And now we’re a lower table premier league side who are bending over for the big boys and scraping a few wins to keep us afloat. We’re not special like we thought we were when we were challenging top 4, we’re just another Everton.
 

I can’t stand another 2.5 years of him but unfortunately, I think that’s what we’ll get. All

we can hope for is that we succeed in spite of him, not because of him.

that's not a measure of aggression given its so dependent on the referee. a good measure of aggression is PPDA (passes per defensive action), where a defensive action is a tackle, interception or attempted tackle, so how much do you let them play before applying defensive pressure - we were allowing 15.72 passes by arsenal before applying defensive pressure, which is standing off quite drastically (i.e. not aggressive play)

If we manage to stay up, please, please, please, please, pleeeeeeasse part ways in the summer.

 

Even if it's a case we pay him off, in full and dress it up that it's his decision to walk away, that he's feels he needs to move on, whatever, give him the moral rights to wording the statement to suit his narrative, make us the bad guys.

 

Just do it.

 

If we don't stay up he'll be the first to walk anyway.

It’s like he’s ‘sorted’ all the problems from the Villa and Spurs games. He probably couldn’t cope with the direct play and had to calm it all down. Really getting fvvked off with the amount of respect he shows the top 4 without giving it a go. Such a negative manager. Get rid, no matter what.

If you discount the first 7 games of the season, we've supposedly improved and turned our season around. We've averaged 1.35 points since and if that continues we will end up on 42 points.

 

The way this season is going, that will leave us still in a relegation battle right to the last few games / final day.

 

It's so tight down there I find it quite astonishing how anyone can be confident we aren't in any danger. Without Maddison we cannot win a game of football and his issues seem to not be going away.

 

Rodgers blind spot continues to be Danny Ward and although we've started to turn games that we go behind in, I still have no faith in our bench being the difference maker in games.

 

Vardy since the World Cup is like playing with 10 men, he's a pointless sub. I'd honestly rather we put Souttar up front when we are chasing games, in the 4 years Rodgers has been here he's never built a squad that can cover different in game situations. You can call the outcome of games we are in very very quickly these days and it's a sad indictment. 

 

If Rodgers does leave any time soon, we will be in a worse state than he found us.

End of the day, this could’ve all been done and dusted long ago had folk actually voted with their feet 

 

But no, there’s an incessant need for people to claim they’re better fans by continuing to attend. This isn’t about being unhappy with a defeat, it’s not about being a sore loser, it’s not about being entitled either (remember that phrase from 18 months ago?)

 

It’s about trying to salvage the future of the club. Top’s never going to change anything whilst the ground is nigh on full every other week.

 

People in here moan about Rodgers almost as much as me. Yet also by reading their posts on here are still attending the games?

 

I honestly think everyone still doing that will have blood on their hands should we go down this season. My mates included. And yes I’ve told them that too.

If the vital decisions made by our club depend on the fans to force it then we are done for anyway.
