Hypothetically... If Palace would accept £20m + Perez for Zaha, would you take him?

His numbers this season have been incredible. Pre injury his form was excellent. In the league for example his stats look like this compared to other comparable players

Maddison 8g 7a

Foden 9g 5a

Mount 6g 6a

Grealish 6g 12 a

And considering only Foden played less minutes than him I'd say that's pretty incredible.

There just seems to be a lot of hatred amongst our fans for madders, all because he went to a party and likes his fashion and social media

Not Leicester related but I have a sneaky feeling IF Conte goes to the Spurs AND they sell Kane, he’ll go in for Lukaku

You heard it here first...

Maybe, but people tend to be very binary/incapable of holding conflicting viewpoints. He has been shite recently, but has also been very good earlier in the season. These two points are not at odds with each other. His shiteness may be due to his injury, but it does not detract from the fact he has been shite

But at the same time, I like him, he needs to stay. :D

....£60m will never cover those three players!!!

Soumare is circa £20m, Edouard £18m? Pereira wouldn’t cost more than £22m (think I’ve read he has a release clause - could be wrong)... Trincao might be a bit more granted, but there wouldn’t be much of a net cost!

What happens to Barnes?

We'd still need someone on the right.

Don’t get why anyone would sell Maddison to be honest.

Because he spends more time poncing about on Instagram and promoting clothing rather then be focused on football. Comes across as a right

W puller

Yet interviews really well and his end product is better than quite a lot of ACM's in the PL who don't get the same level of criticism as Maddison.

Games not all about numbers though. Maddison is great on his best but is the definition of inconsistent. I'd take the rest over him. And injuries are a massive concern. Not saying I'd sell but it's understandable.

Doubt you would realistically get more than 40m for Maddison at the moment

Agreed, and even that's a stretch.  Bad time to sell Maddison coming off an injury-plagued and generally mediocre season.

I disagree. In that position output is everything. For me maddison is progressing year on year but his hip problem is definitely a concern. This summer he will have a long period of rest for the first time in a couple of years and I we will see whether he can put the injury behind him. In regards of taking them all over him. I would definitely take Foden that’s a give a true generational challenge. Grealish for me is a toss up. Before injury I’d say Maddison recently Grealish. Mount I still think is overrated although he is improving. I’d have a fit maddison over him any day.

grealish is ahead of maddison without a cuestion for me. grealish is not only better as a footballer but also as a leader, and, above all, as stated, his ability is simply better more consistently. mount is overrated though. agreed

Zaha could be locked up in prison for serial buggery and we'd still have people on here pining for him every summer

He does know how to break into the box and nick a goal though

He has talent and a few years ago looked like he could really push on to the next level. For whatever reason (injuries is my suspicion) it has never really happened for him and now I feel he’s too old to ever reall make that level. I think Palace is about where he’s at skill wise now and he probably won’t kick on to that European level.

I’d say in this present moment grealish is ahead of maddison. I would personally say that maddison has the higher ceiling if he works for it and reaches the heights his talent deserves. I could see maddison having a 15 goal 15 assist season if everything went right. I don’t think I see that for grealish. Just my opinion though and I know I will probably get rinsed for it haha

You’ve summed it up perfectly. They were the words I was looking for with my long winded explanation
