Sir Shep Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Going well on the spurs forums, honeymoon period well and truly over!
Arkie Bennett Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Kane falling on his arse leading to a goal, tremendous entertainment.

It was clear that Levy simply refused to sell him and whilst I get that he has a contractual obligation - a player like him should win everything. Well Harry obviously feels sorry for himself punishing his own club

whoareyaaa Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Nuno has done himself over taking this job all the hard work at Wolves to take over the bottlers

Sly Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 At least Kane tracked back to try and make up for his mistake. Where was the rest of that Spurs team?
davieG Posted 26 September 2021 Author Posted 26 September 2021 As it stands if Palace beat Brighton we'll be down in 14th. When was the last time we were that low?
David Hankey Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Even the 'Gooners' have gone above us now. That tells you something.
Koke Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Would we beat Spurs if we played them next week? 1
Md9 Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Son and Kane can not enjoy playing in that team at all 🙈

He agreed to a new long contract on a shed load of £££ and no buy out clause. As much as I don't like Levy, he's sticking to his guns that unless someone offers their valuation they're not selling. And no one did. Kane didn't submit a transfer request so he's still there. End of for me.

Sir Shep Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Just goes to show what a bit of confidence can do to a team. 2

End of for me. Well yeah, but my suspicion would be that they simply did not allow a buy out clause because he is invaluable to Spurs. I would also imagine that Levy probably promised to invest in the squad (which hasn’t been fulfilled). I think it’s far more complex than Kane being attracted to a big contract, he is far too smart for that and strikes me as a player who is more bothered about winning trophies.
drumbeat Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 I'm no Arsenal fan but that scoreline is making me smile.
Gazza M Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Shakey guided us to 18th and Ranieri from top to bottom before they were fired. Plenty of time to turn it around yet.
Nod.E Posted 26 September 2021 Posted 26 September 2021 Nuno is a fraud. No idea why Spurs went in for him. Okay so he got Wolves promoted but they played dull, negative football in the Prem. Mid-table fodder this year.

I don't think they chose Nuno I think Nuno was the only qualified manager willing.
