Leicesterpool Posted 8 November 2021 Posted 8 November 2021 Big question in regards to the appointment of Howe at Newcastle is will the fans back him, in the past when ever a southern based manager shows up there like the late Glen Roeder or Alan Pardew neither seemed to win over the home faithful despite some good results. 1

I have always seen Klopp as someone who is completely false. I see klopp as more than false rather a sore loser, very much like the Danish lad at brentford, and tuchel. Arteta and howe can be similar as well. Problem with klopp is that the media builds him up to be some loveable guy... And he's not. Lol
ajthefox Posted 8 November 2021 Posted 8 November 2021 (edited) Klopp is a bellend. But the kind of bellend everyone who is on his side loves. He's got to be the worst loser in the PL and he is so full of shite when they do, can't accept anything. That Ogbonna goal yesterday was completely fair, Alison just ballsed it up. Howe will get Newcastle scoring some goals and will get everyone on board and more excited about the whole thing. Eventually, probably after a couple years he'll get sacked because they'll not be able to defend and it will be holding them back. Someone with a higher profile will come in and that's when everyone will start really worrying and the money will really start flying around. Edited 8 November 2021 by ajthefox 2
Super_horns Posted 8 November 2021 Posted 8 November 2021 (edited) Good news for Howe is the Newcastle fans will back him to start with . They turned on Bruce from day one ! Edited 8 November 2021 by Super_horns

I get being annoyed with losing and that "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser" stuff but he gets quite personal with interviewers and it isn't on. Reporters ask questions, they aren't there to give opinions. Unfortunately the fanbase will lap it up and pile in on the bloke asking the question, not the instigator. Reporters ask stupid questions hoping for a reaction. Klopp doesn't care for their bullshit & calls them out on it. Good for him. Get real football people to ask the questions instead of the numties the networks provide. The man obviously lives for his team & is emotional following the game . I would take his "rudeness" over the plastic dished out by so many managers these days. 1

cruzFOX Posted 9 November 2021 Posted 9 November 2021 Starting to hear a lot of noise around west ham 'doing a leicester'. as good as they are right now i just don't see them going the distance. it will all catch up with them after xmas then we'll see. Good for them and Moyes though. imo the leicester story is on a whole different level. nothing will top that achievement. oh and this BS about the big 6 having an off year is really getting old and tired as excuses go. They had blips like all teams do every season we were just that much more consistent. thats not jammy thats being persistent and determined. we had our blips too that season but we came back with a vengeance after each one. After all these years some people still can't accept our deserved win. the jealousy is mind boggling. 2

Those 2 stats alone are just incredible!! 1

Last season it was Everton haha.

I have had the good fortune to get to know him first at Mainz as a player, then successfull Manager. I am a BVB fan...I always said he's a breath of fresh air & not boring clichés. His approach is different... Enjoyed listening to him in private, his then ambitions & aspirations..Done well. The lad as.! Of course like all sporting managers/coaches ..or just other people with different characters, will always have someone finding fault.. I am too old and mature to go on witch-hunts to throw shit at people who are making descisions everyday within their chosen careers.. I didn't Agree/like his remarks over Choudhury...but ffs even our own best mates & ourselves are allowed to be plonkers or go off on strange tangents, now & again.. He's rekindled L'pool.. He seen Mainz fair..and a good Dortmund CV.. We liked MONs emotions & outbursts, but also worth listening to. I enjoy(ed) the same with Klopp..
filbertway Posted 9 November 2021 Posted 9 November 2021 Good manager, sore loser who embarasses himself regularly when talking to the media after a loss, sounding like a 10 year old that's had their sweets taken off them. 2

Everytime I see a player go down holding their knee after losing footing or something innocuous I always assume a ligament problem. Seems mad when the physio's let them carry on knowing the damage that could be done.

Should make this forum respect our own manager, who doesn't chase excuses & goes mainly around doing his job quietly also endorses.. "It's what we do that counts" Though a nice rant ,opens the windows & Klopp when he comes down, has always been fair over his competitors. Often by then though some journos have got their own headlines..like with Shankley,Revie,Fergie..Pep,before. Fans have to read between the lines, and enjoy .!

Not just for Klopp, but others..listen to their other interviews or radio time in the week .Or offside from game-day. We are too quick to enjoy the headline-clickbait, and too ready to use them has the only words exchanged..
