United played 2 days ago and have a game in 2 days time. Never a better time to play them.

Fcuk all the moaning and negativity. Go out and put in a shift tonight lads and get the job done.

Arsenal have got a crap manager. Chelsea have demonstrated that bringing back a club legend doesn't nessacarily work (although Man U have shown otherwise). If Arsenal pinched Rodgers this summer, I think that we could easily swap league positions with them.

The fact is they are a rich club and have a large squad to go with that, so in the past season and half where everything has been fuched up by covid, they have had more resources to cope with that. The fact they haven't is because they have a crap manager that they brought in for nostalgic reasons. It's like if we appoint Muzzy Izzet as manager.

No, arsenal have a mid table squad which is why they’re mid table. We will be ahead of arsenal for a few years yet...

Has anyone ever told you that you speak a lot like Yoda?

Like, massively so?

Was this deliberate, oh Jedi Master?

That’s how I looked watching the Newcastle game.

And 13 hours from now.......?

It's now 0-3. Was 0.2 half time another from Vardy, and Iheanacho in 2nd half

Great, thanks. Please update your table now.

Intensity

whoever they play will lack it

their squad members don’t get enough playing time

their first team players will be knackered

if we can find it then we should come out on top in an intense physical battle

but I fear we are also knackered and our squad players are also without playing time

Haven’t seen any intensity from our lot for quite a while.

First half against West Brom was good...but that feels like a lifetime ago. 😕

I'd not pick anyone who is not match fit and try and put some experience into the side - Therefore,

                                     Kasper

Timothy      Fofana        Cags  Fuchs     Thomas

                                 Youri        Wilf

                                   Perez

                         Kelechi     Vardy

To be fair. It would benefit United to lose to us and then beat Liverpool. Pretty much ends the top four race.

Why would it benefit United?

This is what I expect him to do but with Sharky on the right and Timmy on the left.

The Newcastle game was when the blows reigned in, they broke my nose, snapped my glasses, urinated in my wash-bag and got bobbles on my magenta turtle neck sweater as I shouted 'Mummy' to a large Biffa wheelie bin that never came to my rescue, my eyes closed.

Now I've let go and I'm happy to glide in silent antipathy for this game.

although;

We have the skillset, but do we have the mindset?

Do we field the same line up as we did in the FA Cup for confidence and familiarity?

If so, does Amartey or Fuchs step in for Evans?

Do we field the same team as Newcastle?....nooooooo I'm back in the alley again.

Do we ditch the back three and galvanise a new/old system to take us through our remaining games?

Find out on television, radio and or the big internet at 18:00 BST.

Those with medical and mental health issues are advised to stay away from the match thread.

Not sure I can put myself through 90 mins of stress, frustration and disappointment. I think it would be different if I was at the ground but watching on TV at home with the kids up is a whole different dynamic and one I don't get on well with. I am sure come 18:00 the game will be on TV and the above will happen...

Anyone hoping we will revert to a back four when all our patterns of play now revolve around a three are going to be disappointed

same again - just a couple of tweaks with personnel or their positions

Looking forward to Rashford running into all those acres of space we leave behind our back line then
