Love some plain, old-school font for a sponsor logo. We’re gonna look sharp, especially if the pattern on the teal shirt fades out like the RBNY shirt posted on this thread.

It will take some getting used to having a different sponsor... It is such a big element of the shirt, and having a) consistency and b) a company with a connection to the club (eg. local, same owners) means it feels much less like an advertising board. We've been lucky to have long stretches with Walkers and King Power, that have become part of our club identity in the way in which an LG or FBS never will.

 

That said, if we want to continue to challenge the greedy 6, we need to close the revenue gap, and shirt sponsor is where we have really undersold ourselves, so it is a no brainer from a club point of view. It's just part of the trade off needed to pay the level of wages we are now paying, and likely only to increase. 

 

(and there are worse sponsors to have, as we have proved in this thread. ..)
