What is it with these sh1t penalties ...  just imagine you are going to whack the ball 80 yards up the pitch and leather it ...  always worked for me.

 

N.B.  Penalty taker for most teams I played for.

Playing well now. We look better with the non established lads, Grealish, Watkins, Bellingham. They havent been sucked into the dull, dispassionate style of England play yet. Would love if Southgate dropped serial failures Sterling, Henderson, Maguire and co. But it won't happen and we'll crash out by the QFs as ever!

Agreed. Bellingham especially looks class. If Sterling gets a start then I give up. The guy has been dreadful for months.

We just play it so damn safe, all the time, and have done going back to when... 1998?? Playing players out of form if they play for a top club, just why? We have the players to be a real force but we won't with yes men like GS in charge. No risk =no reward

Yeah if we had balls we'd have those two, Bellingham and Sterling all somehow on the pitch behind Kane and really go for it. Probably not gunna win it anyway so may as well go out guns blazing.

 

As it is we'll probably limp out chasing a game with Rice, Henderson and Phillips in a midfield 3

We all know Sterling & Rashford will play every minute possible, Mings will keep his place.

 

Grealish may have played his way into starting. He was the best threat by a distance.

 

Hard to have much optimism. I've seen this all before. We'll be shown up in the Euros.

Win, but limp over the line with a penno against inferior opposition and bore us to tears whilst doing so

I so hope the actual tournament can induce a spark from our players cos we have some really good ones
