I guess it doesn't help 2 of them are from Man City/Chelsea.

I know it's not our strongest side but so many of this team finished in bottom half of the premier League. Doesn't mean they can't be good players but I think it's a sign of the lack of depth.

Surely in the run up to the tournament you play majority of your best 11 so they can get used to each other.

Rashford down one wing, Sancho attacking the other, Grealish providing inspiration from midfield. Looks a plan, but you can see that better teams will work out how to stiffle our runs.

Agreed, never been impressed by him. Saying that, the gap in quality between Stones/Maguire and the other centre backs options is rather large too.
