I don't think the novelty of fans being back but grounds nowhere near full will last. Better atmospheres when they were empty, games have always been shit when the grounds nowhere near full.

I was youtubing all the goals of previous Euros this morning and there were some truly amazing atmospheres (the better the further back I went actually)

The crowds this year are going to make a lot of the games seem like pre season friendlies I’m afraid. There will be no comparison to previous tournaments

There is genuine quality here, but under southgate it is not being shown. The lack of chances is mesmerising against lowly opposition. Just do something, grealish and sancho the only stand out players for me Rashford is useless…

Even my Man Utd supporting friend says Rashford has been woeful for months and shouldn’t even be in the squad. So Southgate makes him captain. What does that tell you?

The kid is just good .....he controls the tempo of the game and his set pieces are excellent 

 

but Southgate will replace TAA with another defender or lingard cos he’s just a nob (mings is a liability btw)
