Don't like it at all.

Not just because of the obvious advantage to wealthier clubs but because of how much disruption it causes to the flow of a game.

I'm all for bigger benches, I mean why you can't just list your whole squad on a match day I'll never understand. I'm all for concussion subs if they're verified by a neutral official.

But fvck five subs.

The original idea was ok in the resumption of football- we didn't know how three months out would affect the players, playing in June/ July plus games every three days.

Now it is just a chance for the top teams to rest and rotate at will whilst still being able to change half the team if they feel like it. Should stay at three subs.

You can still only use three substitution stoppages, same as before.

That's not what I mean.

I mean how much the flow and consistency of a game changes when you swap 50% of the starting outfield players.

Good game this is.

Bit of bite to it which is good.

Did you think that was a penalty?

Tough to call as player got the ball but did he do so as he took Zlatan out or not?

At first I didn’t think it was a penalty, I thought Ibanez had got the ball first. But then looking at the angle from behind it did look like he caught his leg before touching the ball.

Just as I type this out Milan get a red card.

@Ric Flair really sad/strange news about Mohamed Ihattaren. Suffering depression and whereabouts unknown after his summer Juve move.

Linked to his Dad's passing a few years ago.

Hope he's okay, the 'considering retirement' doesn't quite tie in with 'whereabout unknown since 13th October' so hopefully he's contactable just no one knows where he is.
