I do find it quite tiresome when commentators are biased towards certain English players. One good game and they get compared to Pirlo or Xavi. Phillips is only playing because he’s the best we have not because he’s particularly good, certainly one of the weaker members of the squad for me!

I've read enough of your posts to safely assume you supported England. 

 

I agree, it is tiresome to hear biased commentary but all I was saying is that Hartson is no worse than some of the English ones or Carragher/Neville commentating on Liverpool/Utd. 

 

The Phillips one really annoyed me the other day. Had it been a Croatian player they would have been calling for a red card.
