To be fair, when he first broke into the team he was outstanding and looked destined for an international call up. I can remember him saving a penalty against villa, I’m sure he somehow got across to the post and saved it with his shins standing up, (without diving)

I agree, when he first started playing for us,  I genuinely thought he would be a future England keeper. He was always good in one to one situations
