Sancho wouldn't have made the squad if it was 23 it seems. He hasn't done much for England yet, but he should be coming on now. How much does Southgate bother watching him out in Germany? Just plays players he knows about.

Wales are playing Denmark. Second place will play second from the group containing Sweden/Slovakia/Spain/Poland.
I don't think teams like Czechia have the arrogance to plan THAT far ahead in the tournament. so as to speculate the QF and SF opponents.

It's flat, looks as though we are practicing for playing the better sides. Sitting deep and play on the counter.

The press/media don’t seem to realise he exists. Nobody asking Southgate about his exclusion before the game when it should be the biggest talking point about the team selection, and should have been since the start of the tournament.
