I think it’s done intentionally as they want the players to concentrate on their jobs rather than making us laugh. Having said that, I wish we could see some quizzes between the players or maybe a video of them playing a round of golf or a pitch and putt challenge. I don’t see what harm that could do but I assume we’re intentionally prevented from seeing it sadly.

The recent quiz they did with Barnes and KDH on LCFCTV was a good idea but the questions made me lose interest. It was a snoozefest

So so boring. Could have been fun but it felt awkward. It actually made the two players look like they don’t get on which is even worse.

Agree. The new training ground has so much potential for decent video ideas. We’re not asking to see tactics, just more of an insight than looking at 20 training pictures every now and again.

I can’t believe it is for lack of ideas that we see so little of Seagrave. More so surely an in house decision.

They could do an interview on the golf course....9 holes with James Maddison...OH! perhaps not

You want more? There’s too much!

I wont be happy until we get back to the days when the first you heard of a new signing was when you read that it had happened in the Merc.

Fans looking from outside to in could maybe do with a change to the guy who carries out the incoming signings interviews amongst other stuff. The questions are boring, always the same, the new recruits seem cringey because of it and his voice is dreadful.

Please hire Matt Elliott!!!!! (Give him a payrise of course)

Was just coming in here to post this about the new signing videos and player interviews. It's the same bloke every time asking the same dull questions results in the same dull answers. Massive snoozefest.

I think it's fine.

And also agree with @Chocolate Teapot.

For what it's worth, I did love the album covers and film 'posters' they did on matchdays.

There's only so much they should/could do during pre-season.

Wonder what it is this year

I would love to see retro video games personally

The club have put out some wonderful spine tingling montages over the years.

That said, the social media doesn't always feel as relaxed and warm compared to some other clubs.

It was the same before Rodgers came in so doubt he's ruled it with an iron fist or anything.

Newsflash: They really don’t.

Yeah but you’re really old now, the kids expect more content.

I prefer us being low key, it suits the club and Leicester as a whole to be fair.

We're not flash or over the top, we make shitty new signing vids and win trophies we're not expected to.

I'm really not that arsed. The club don't engage in speculation on transfers and only announce anything when there's something to say. Pics and vids of training is entertaining for half an hour, then it's just monotonous. Not sure we really have the banter like the days of Shinji & Fuchs that's worth coverage.

The clubs with the better social media coverage allow it to be more independent of the club line.  Thus it engages with the debates fans are having.

Few years back at the FCG these was a presentation about the clubs online content   they wanted to be the first choice for fans getting info about the club. It was pointed  out that they needed independent editorial control.

Not thought about it before but I think you make a good point. Some access to players can humanise them. I too think England did a good job of this at the Euros. In recent times I've not been that interested in international football and the players appeared a bit aloof when they probably weren't really.

A case in point would be young Saka. Not only for me did he have a brilliant tournament but his story was interesting and he came across as a thoroughly decent young man. I was absolutely gutted for him when he got racially abused. So much so, if we were playing Arsenal next week, and I really don't like Arsenal, when his name is read out I'd stand up and clap him. I just think it would be nice for him to realise that even opposition supporters appreciated what he'd done.

Likeswise, I agree with this point massively.

The media can have a massive impact on how you perceive a person, consciously or subconsciously.
I remember our first season back in the PL and before Raheem Sterling called out the MSM for there bias against himself and other black players. I was so confused whenever he got on the ball, our fans booed him even though Raheem Sterling has no relationship with our fans and our club.

it made me realise the massive impact this countries media has on public opinion. Still to this day I feel that period in Sterling’s career has had a massive impact on how this country still perceives him as a person.
