I am glad you are optimistic if it is any help but I cannot see anything but wayward shots horrendous first touches and your bitter disappointment in the future.  

 

(TBF I do also agree it was the best game I've seen him play in some time and given all our other central striking options are equally as bad he should keep his place)

A confident Daka is well and truly good enough to get a goal or assist every other game at this level. That's not a particularly big ask, he did something like 0.99 last time we were in this league, albeit over less than half of the season.

 

He's not the best striker in the league but he's the best we've got, regardless of what that says about Rudkin and Top.

 

Be nice if he can kick on from here but it's not 100% on him, is it? We create next to **** all for any of our strikers. At least he's the most likely to actually get in to any goal scoring position by virtue of being the only one without concrete boots.

Still the best option up front. Admittedly in a very bad bunch.

 

One goal doesn't erase a truly embarrassing year for him, and we need to either find a new option in January or give Evans a chance, but of the three we have he does the most for the players around him. I'm pretty done gaslighting myself into believing that Ayew's greed on the ball is good hold-up play, Patson's movement is far better at stretching defenses.

Passed out with shock at the point when he didn't trip over the ball so missed the goal. 

 

Checked several times as thought everyone was on the wind up but it's appears to be factually correct he scored. 

 

As he's a striker that plays for us and actually manged to strike the ball into the oppositions net he has to be our nailed on No.9 next match.

Yes comes across as a superb bloke and probably tries too hard if anything. 

 

If he can start firing he'll definitely turn almost immediately into a fans favourite.

Its sad because I think every leicester fan has wanted this for him the whole time he's been here. He seems like a lovely guy and I can't see him being one of the problems in the dressing room. He gives 100% but he's just never really been good enough which is a real shame. I don't necessarily blame the recruitment team for him as I can understand why we went for him as he was a goal machine in Austria, even though it is a poor standard.
