Millwall are ultra defensive against Championship teams. They're gonna play 1 GK, 9 defensive players and a target man. We should beat them even with our fringe players but their pitch is terrible and they can physically bully us.

Anyone know roughly the date of this?

We are playing Brighton on Sunday 19 September and Burnley on Saturday 25 September. Therefore this match has to be on Wednesday 22 September

Will be 21st or 22nd of September I believe.

I'd guess at 22nd because we're at Brighton on 19th (Sunday).

We should get a good away end out here for once. Only those who drink excessively and take plenty of drugs will be brave enough to attend.

Heard the club are ditching free scarves for this one in favour of bags of powder under each seat.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but does anyone remember in 02/03 season, they banned our fans from attending the league game as we were apparently too violent!

So we did the same on the reverse fixture.

I remember Stevie Claridge scoring after about 20 seconds in the home game and there being the most deafening silence ever lol

Looking back at that FA Cup tie, I forgot they had 10 men for 35 mins!

At least we'll be able to field a much stronger rotated side than this:

Zieler

Amartey

Wague

Benalouane

Chilwell

King

Mendy

Musa

Kapustka

Gray

Okazaki

lol

Horrible place to go, they will be well up for it and we won't. They may not be as good as us but we've the backbone of a jelly fish in this type of encounter. No idea who will play but they will be in for a pretty physical encounter.

you used to get the whole stand. due to them being propa nawtee.

Just for me? :D   Well, we'll see...  Definitely more chance of this than trying to get a ticket for the KP at any point?  I still feel a bit sad that I've never been to the KP for a footy match...

Didn't they ban quite a few teams from bringing away fans that season due to their fans going absolutely mental the season before? They had the big riot against Birmingham in the playoffs, but quite a few other small scale riots. I think that's when Theo Paphitis and their board started clamping down on their village idiot fans.

Oh please. They can't get anywhere near you because of the measures hanging over from the 90s and its all for show these days anyway. Its mostly kids wearing flat caps, obese blokes doing the w4nker sign at you and old women with fewer than 5 teeth.

It'll be more like when we used to play them in the Championship and it was just a regular game for them. That cup game was the exception rather than the rule. There'll be about 8k there.

True. Have to say it was quite possibly the best home limbs I've ever seen when they bagged at the end.
