It'll be more like when we used to play them in the Championship and it was just a regular game for them. That cup game was the exception rather than the rule. There'll be about 8k there.

No chance, reckon they’ll get close to selling this out

Didn't they ban quite a few teams from bringing away fans that season due to their fans going absolutely mental the season before? They had the big riot against Birmingham in the playoffs, but quite a few other small scale riots. I think that's when Theo Paphitis and their board started clamping down on their village idiot fans.

The whole division had a crackdown. There were a number of early kick offs as well - we had to play at noon v Stoke at home

Anybody going down there be prepared, every time I’ve been, there has been trouble.

Nothing to worry about, so long as you're not stupid and go looking for trouble.

The last few times I've been there, it's been positively tame compared to the FA Cup tie in 1985.

And oldies will tell you that 1969 was something else ...

The last time I went they was throwing bricks and all sorts of stuff at the buses up the old Kent rd,  I was on one of the Austen Clark coaches, luckily our windows didn’t break :D

The fa cup game in 1991 my mate got coined in the ground, it was very feisty and the ill feeling got worse.

We was winning with 10 minutes to go, then we had Walshie and Ramsey sent off, they scored 2 late goals, sickening

Outside it was kicking off big time as you would of expected.

Never saw that. It's very easy to avoid trouble, I find.

I'd be gobsmacked if this was over two thirds full.

There were six clubs that had fans banned and another four had to finish the game with an hour of daylight post-match.

Was there in '85, and that was bad enough. How bad was it in '69?

I think a gentlemens bet has been made!

They weirdly hate lineker, the knee and brexit, all of which i assume they associate with Leicester. Also pride themselves on creating a faaarkin a'musfeeeear against the big teams, that's the only reason i assume all of their 'well known chaps' will turn up for this match.

That famous entrance for home fans under the bridge there now has ‘refugees welcome’ painted on it. I really enjoy that as I bet it really boils some piss for their lot having to walk under it.

If all were fit, our cup team could be

Ward

Castagne, Vestergaard, Soyuncu, Bertrand/Thomas

Choudhury/Mendy

Soumare, KDH/Praet

Iheanacho, Daka, Albrighton.

Working out what 11 players would constitute our first 11 if everyone was fit is tough.

In this potential second 11, I have not included Amartey.   I have assumed that Rodgers will persist with Perez because of my inner masochist.  It looks like a team that would finish mid table raising questions about our ineffectiveness against Wham.

Wouldn't this be the first match Perez can play after his suspension? Surely he would play him in this game as he should be fully "rested".

It's what a cup team could potentially look like of all our squad is fit.  Our first choice defence is possibly.

Pereira, Evans, Fofana, Justin.

It will be some time before we see three of them.  Partly, I am ruminating on how strong our second string is if everyone is fit.

I don't understand why Perez has been picked so often.  His pressing stats are impressive but, as someone pointed out yesterday, if he is selected for that, we may as well play Choudhury on the wing.

Was there in 69 when Lennie Glover scored the only goal, pretty intimidating as there was no fans seperation on the terraces at the old Cold Blow Lane ground !

Perez gets more abuse than he deserves. He is a good player but nor more and no less. A team player if you like. He is not going to change games for us but we have little alternative unless we force Iheanacho/Maddison/Daka into that position or change formation.

We lack that perfectly balanced squad unfortunately and that is what hinders us pushing on more.

I think we have a strong 2nd string but if we get injuries like last season, we will run out of alternatives and struggle. Would be nice to challenge on all fronts and be able to rotate two sides almost with minimal quality impact.

Just gonna say here ... If your one of the lads and you creamed your knickers at the thought of going down to this game hoping to see and have a few scuffles with the famous Millwall mob ... Then grow up, stay at home and watch football factory for the 200th time

That FA Cup game was probably the angriest I’ve been as a Leicester fan.

Going from champions to losing to a 10-man League One side in 8 months.

Everyone remembers the fat guy in the string vest.

I remember a couple of groups of our own fans fighting between themselves on the station platform whilst we waited for the train to London Bridge.
