They are clearly vulnerable and have tough fixtures coming, which is nice.

Centre midfield is so clearly where they are lacking. Ole should have sorted this ages ago. Matic, Fred, McTominay… all bang average

On the tunnel cam Matic was walking off the pitch like he had been spit roasted by two lamp posts……. Lads crocked.

He was over the hill a couple of seasons back mate. Seeing him in a Man Utd shirt now is ridiculous with what they’ve spent.

With all the dosh that went on Sancho they could have signed a top central midfielder

Quite frankly, they are lacking in most positions. Defence is an absolute shambles, and needs a complete rebuild despite spending £200m. Fred is useless. Up front, they have two players who will be pensioned off in the not too distant future - Ronaldo and Cavani - an unreliable Rashford, a vastly overrated Sancho, promising Greenwood and the perennial underperformer, Martial. They won't be winning the Premier League for many years

I don’t think the defence is a shambles. Varane is world class, Shaw can be fine on his day and I’ve always rated wan Bissaka. Maguire can be much better than he was on Saturday too. Agree with you about the rest though tbf

Did anyone else notice early in the game when Kasper had a right go at Castagne after Kasper’s latest terrible pass like it was Castagne’s fault he kicked the ball no where near him? Tim must be quite a placid guy as I’m surprised he didn’t argue back

.....would not have made much difference, Kasper is always blaming someone for his mistakes!!!

Castagne ignoring him would have been the best move.

Here's the funny thing.  Folks go on about how shyte their squad is, and about how shyte Ole is as a manager.  Yet they make the CL every year.  One of those contentions would seemingly be in error.

Nah, Youri doesn’t seem like the type who gets carried away. I mean, he turned up looking neat as hell and was wearing a mask….. might seem silly but it speaks volumes about the lads character. He’s a good egg is Youri. 
 

He will eventually leave, but he can do no wrong, he won us the FA cup.

Was this the one in the first half where Kasper chipped it out to left back and it went out of play because Castagne was well inside? 

 

If so, I sit in C2 right above it and it was 100% Castagne's fault and I'd have been screaming at him too if I was his captain. 

 

I love Castagne, one of my favourite players, but he was dawdling then and needed a kick up the arse. Kasper's pass was actually pretty much bang on where it needed to be and Castagne should have been there. The whole ground could see it was one of Kasper's few options but Castagne was being way too slow getting in to position. 

 

We all love a dig at Kasper for his distribution and most of the time it's valid, it's not a strength of his game. But that one wasn't his fault.

As much as I don’t want it to happen. If I was utds manager I’d have been trying to sign  wilf 2 years ago.
