Wilf still has his uses, he looks at his best when we just leave him to do the dirty work. Allowing 6/7 players to be part of the attack, if the attack breaks down, you'll back Wilf to win the ball back and recycle it most of the time. It's absolutely massive to be able to have someone like that to give others the licence to attack and take risks.

Does Wilf even get back into the starting 11 straight the way.
Big decisions to make

The reassuring news is that we have a very decent replacement whilst Wilf is away at the ACON.

Tielemans goal was reminescent of that Cantona goal over a decade ago which they play over and over. If Ronaldo had scored that on Saturday then we'd be having it replayed for ever more.

All Ronaldo did was slide on his arse

watching vardys goal a few times and ayo's contribution is superb - dummies the pass which takes lindelof and maguire towards vards and then he backs them away again by looking like he's going to the byline before that v quick flick pass off the outside of his foot.

reminded me of the way riyad kept dummying azpi in 2015 to take him across to the right, thereby opening up the far side of the goal when he quickly moved the ball back to his left foot to shoot ....

the detail of the game is often way more complex than we think ....

Great result, shame I had to witness grown adults doing the Ronaldo celebration in the pub and thinking it was hilarious.

Just out of curiosity what is an ungrown adult ?

Even the diddiest adults have grown a bit.

Not sure if it’s been posted anywhere else, but we recorded the most presses in a game by any team in the league against these 260.

Youri (40),  Soumaré (35), and Kel (34) were the highest in the team.

Did the player (can’t recall who it was) who absolutely creamed Castange before Vardy’s goal get booked?

According to the motd commentary - yes, yes he was!

For me, I think one of the advantages of Soumaré coming in to some form is that he can come in in games where we expect to be dominant in midfield and he'll offer some more threat and quality in possession.

I think any game where you expect to have a battle in midfield or be facing a strong threat on the counter or from attacking midfield, you need Ndidi. He's still by far our best defensive player bar none.

Justin and Fofana celebrating with the boys after the game!

Loved the full version of tunnel cam

Harry saying to his teammates 'come on lads, big 45 ahead'

It certainly was memorable, Harry 😄😄

And kasper having a go at the ref for not booking their players and awaiting a 'soft' yellow card for us😄

Looks like Monday Night Football’s first forty five minutes tonight are going to be saying how shit United are

Yet Neville won't go for his mate who put out a shambles on Saturday.

The reasons for Iheanacho having a long run in the starting 11 just keep mounting up. That's a great contribution from him.

If anyone watched the full match replay on Sky Sports/NowTV, who was the Scottish co-commentator? He was obscenely biased.

I was thinking that last night , he really was fixated with Utd.

It was always a praise for something United did, never a criticism. ‘Clever play’, or ‘Great positioning’, was really weird.

It got me when we had an excellent passage of play where i think Castagne floated a ball over towards Ricardo and the passage of play was excellent but there was nothing from the ‘experts’. Also that Vardy finish … if that had been Ronaldo it woulda been a media jizz fest.
