My fellow fans in L1 really are some of the dumbest people in that ground I'm afraid.

STILL Boo the taking the knee and kept Booing Rashford every time he touched it.

If your in L1 and one of these ****tards you should grow up and learn something. Your an embarrassment  to yourself.

I sat in L1 once many moons ago…. It was the Fosse/City vote

it was horrible…. Full of tools who were clearly not watching the match as they were too busy flirting with the away fans

....that is a quality squad, just mis-managed!!!

I've said since the start of the season, that especially in home games, there are times when Ndidi shouldn't be playing.

He's one of the best in the world at what he does, but if you want to play progressively from the back his ability to win the ball back is not necessarily as important as someone like Tielemans/Soumare/Maddison who can pick the ball up with their back to goal and are comfortable with doing that.

For me, with a back 3/5 Ndidi shouldn't play.

Either 2 CBs with Ndidi, or 3 CBs and drop him.

You have a point. If Soumare can play like he played against MU, and presumably he will get better, this is a healthy headache to have. Ndidi is amazing though in ball recovery, but if the team plays as disciplined as yesterday, then there is a case for Soumare as he is a much better ball player with good positional sense and can help move the ball around a lot better, which is key in building our attacking moves instead of passing backwards/sideways in key moments allowing the opposition to settle.

Apart from Maguire, they will come good. Don’t write off MU this season. They have a lot of potential.

They will get pummeled by Liverpool unless Klopp gets cocky which i doubt. There next few games could see them dropping out of the top 4. After that sure they could recover but who cares about manu. We need to focus on staying in the groove now that we've rediscovered it. Lets get some more wins and careful with tinkering on the team Brendan!

Man U? They’re already out of the Top 4 at the minute. 6th in the league.

Tielemans goal was reminescent of that Cantona goal over a decade ago which they play over and over. If Ronaldo had scored that on Saturday then we'd be having it replayed for ever more.

Yes, it was Cantona-esque now you mention it. And nobody ever knew, or dared ask, what he he was doing, or intended. A rule unto himself if there ever was one.

Looks like Monday Night Football’s first forty five minutes tonight are going to be saying how shit United are

Suits me. That narrative takes the pressure of us, and maybe makes the lads feel a little ignored. Excellent motivation.

95% of the takes on most platforms have been  about United. And I expect this week's podcasts will be about United as well. Its the nature of the  beast.

Absolutely. But I wonder if that viewpoint is largely held by older fans?

I sometimes suspect younger fans see the astromonical wages as some sort of status symbol for the clubs?

You've really arrived in the big time if you have a squad on 10s, even 100s of thousands a WEEK!

I think only the really old fans will be thinking ten shillings a week is an excitingly big pay packet!

Man U made it easy for us - they are in the top 4 of teams that dont press - think norwich are top which says it al. Fast forward to Sunday and Brentford and it will be a whol different ball game - we wont have a second to breathe and mistakes will be plentiful

Jesus wept, we beat Man United 4-2 and someone still finds an opportunity to be negative and make out Brentford are some super heavyweight.

We’re Leicester city, reigning FA cup champions and masters of swagger……

Just enjoy the ****ing moment……

It's our DNA. We are Leicester, we can't help ourselves. We run ourselves down but God help any outsiders that have a go at us.

We had two "wingers" on the bench and played our best this season Can we now end this R.W. obsession? Time to move on I reckon.

Personally I think that if you can get a back 3/5 to work it is the best and most fluid formation out there, and I know many oppose it, but I actually think it’s our best formation.

Soumare was a big factor in this, he allows for a more flexible double pivot when he plays, and it means Maddison has more of a free role too because Bouba is capable of moving forward too and contributing to the attack probably a little more than Wilf can.

So now Soumare is starting to come good, it’s going to mean we can be far more flexible with our formations and personnel.

Personally if we can get a run of form going I’m excited, because we can do some serious damage because we finally have squad depth and subs that can genuinely change a game.

Really reminded me of Lampard's against Hull (though that was further out).

Very nice interview with Castagne on the official site at the moment. The guy has a spot-on attitude and am delighted we signed him:

“It was a great game, I think we played very well. We played from the back and we showed our quality. Today was the first game of the season where we actually tried to play from the back and play as well as we did today – it’s a big win."

“Our only mistake today was giving them their second goal because it could have finished 2-2 and we have regrets, and it came also from a long ball from nowhere. We showed character. The last few weeks, I’ve said character is not enough. Today, it was, because we brought quality as well and that’s why it worked today.

“That’s why we were so upset before, because we know we can do that. Today, we showed against one of the best teams in the Premier League that we can be better than them. We showed today that we dominated, we kept the ball, had good actions, and we have to keep on playing like that.”

Good insights into the way we play and what we are trying to do. Also like the attitude of wanting to prove we are better than the so called best teams in the division, because that's the attitude we need if we want to continue to punch above our weight.

Interesting that Utd. played exactly the sort of pass that we should be doing more of.
