Have a feeling Wrexham won't get promotion this season, and may well have to stay in the league for the while..

I think they'll get play offs but I can see them slipping up their.

Seems a bit like the bigger clubs in the EFL wanting to have their cake and eat it.

It’s only for Welsh teams isn’t it or is that what you mean - the 4 Welsh EFL club a?

Yeah I meant the 4 Welsh clubs in the EFL. Probably unfair grouping Newport with the other 3 to some extent.

Back in 2011/12, FAW invited the English based clubs to come back to the Welsh Cup and UEFA made a point then of saying that if they did, they wouldn't qualify for European competition through it.

The only way this will happen now is if the Welsh clubs give up their rights to qualify through English competition as a trade off.

Short term, fair enough, makes sense. Not like any of them are going get in the Europa League any time soon.

But you'd imagine Swansea and Cardiff haven't permanently given up all hope of ever getting back to the Prem indefinitely and Wrexham will almost certainly still have it as a goal.

It'd be an odd decision I think.

Also shits all over the clubs playing in the Welsh league system.

I'm generally against but it's all a bit meh who cares.

That must have been in or around the year Swansea won the League Cup and qualified for Europe was it?

Any of the four doing it deserve a complete boycott from home and away fans for, like, forever. A firebombing wouldn’t be an OTT response. A firebombing campaign and a kidnapping. And a car chase, three tasty murders, and an appearance on Crimewatch.

Apart from that, I couldn’t give a shit either.

Don't think they'll do it this season, personally, but just imagine the hope it'll give lower-league football if they manage a triple-promotion at the end of the season (without arguing that they've got Hollywood owners etc.)..

Do you think the bubble will burst eventually?

Admittedly thought it would've started to by now, but fair play to Parkinson for keeping them where they are now currently.

Considering that we've seen the likes of Huddersfield and Luton in the PL, who knows if they'll ever get that far in time.

Big win for Wrexham away at promotion rivals Wycombe and now back in 2nd

I'd be surprised if the owners expected another promotion this season. My guess is they probably budgeted for the play offs.

Despite the dollars, back to back to back promotions would be some going.

9 games to go.

With the suspension of the game as a Wrexham supporter was taken to hospital when the game was 0-0 with 12 mins to go, there'll be plenty of drama for the TV show and the good news is the fan is stable... and probably going to feature on international TV.

Let's hope they make a full recovery.

To be fair, both Wycombe and Wrexham deserve to be promoted, the gap to 4th is substantial, but play-offs can be cruel.

Charlton are motoring. They keep winning 2/1 or 2 nil.Have a very settled first eleven and strong bench and made Wycombe look ordinary when they beat them at Christmas.Five points in it now. They have to play both Wrexham and Wycombe in the run in

I noticed this after I posted my comment. You're not wrong! Bit more interesting than the PL.

I used to think Division 3.was the pits.Possibly the bleakest league to end up in.Over the last few seasons it’s become one of the most exciting.
Like Division 2 used.to be until it became full of financially ruined, burnt out ex PL clubs.

There’s a great mix of ambition and out and out pluckiness.Add the teams who have lost their way a bit and it makes for a very interesting division nowadays.Four teams going down is brutal.

Paul Mullin bust up with Parkinson interesting some reports say he want play for Wrexham... perhaps far fetched.

If we could afford is he good enough to play in championship?

I don't think he is.

We had Langstaff and him and Mullin dominated in the National League in our battle with Wrexham and again in League Two.

Mullin has 3 goals in League One this season and Langstaff has 1 for Millwall in Championship.
