Or with a 2 goal lead, they can take a rest for a bit

True. But that's why it's important for us to capitalise on it while we can.

It's like a completely different game to the first 10 minutes.

I don't know if it's us picking up,  or Arsenal deciding to stick rather than twist at 2-0 up.

Arsenal are a superb example of how you can’t be successful if you don’t defend well. Look how well they defend now and how they’re reaping the benefits, you can’t keep getting away with it which is our current approach

Any defence would look good against this static approach tbf

If (and it's a big if) we can get a goal it might energise us and knock the stuffing out of Arsenal. Arsenal are notoriously weak minded and have been known to crumble. I've not given up hope.

This will be Palace in reverse.  2-2.

Thomas is out of his depth today

Our defence again is fookin awful

Have to agree!

Sadly don’t think Thomas is suited to the wingback role. This is one of the issues with our 3atb system. Wingbacks are key and our depth beyond Ricardo, Castagne & JJ is poor.

Luke is much better at LB, especially when he’s partnered with Barnes.

This woman commentator becomes more grating by the minute

That was the answer to "could be worse" statement I gave earlier. Switched over to NBC
