I know people hate on Rugby Union a lot. But I don't know why VAR can't be used in a similar vein to the TMO. Let refs check what they want sort of thing and be allowed to talk through their decisions.

Whilst this is all very entertaining, I can't help feeling it suits Leeds.

Insane decision as others are pointing out.

 

The call is for an offside, VAR checks it and conclusively proves that it isn’t offside within seconds. Referee awards a free kick to Leeds despite the foul on Vardy. The least they should’ve done is dropped the ball and kicked it back to us. The correct outcome would’ve been a free kick and a red card though.

 

It’s bizarre that it’s noted down as an offside despite it clearly not being. Feels like they just can’t be bothered to do their jobs at times.

The amount of times we get in to that position where one simple ball gets us in and the pass is poor

I'm not sure why people are having a go at VAR. They cannot check for free kicks, ref should have given the free kick and red card and then VAR could have checked the offside. 

 

Also Youri was just too slow in making that decision!
