Singles daggers. Singles.

How many together unless an away team doesn't sell the away end out? None.

They don’t go on general though mate - they get released for membership sale then allowed to sit empty for matches. KPFC has killed general sale, which for my money is enough to have them bulldozed into the ground as it has completely forgotten what it’s there for.

I'd honestly scarp the plans now and make new ones, by the time we get this done 40K will already not be enough.

One of the reasons I think it should be higher.

It's pretty ballsy to speculate to accumulate, and Vichai was one of those types, but is Top and his family?

I'd reckon the family are just too fearful to spend the money unless we had a maguire type transfer out or we were Europe again, without either of those, I think they're happy with the ways things are, I personally think it's short term thinking myself, but it's not my money and I want a season ticket

I've had this really depressing feeling for some time that Top,and his family now just view our club as being King Power's 'works' football team - a means of boosting King Power's status in Thailand when things are going well and something to show off about to his friends.

When things aren't going so well of course it seems on past experience that they're nowhere to be seen.

It really looks like attittudes towards the club within the company really changed after we lost Vichai, the drive and ambition of his years in charge now seem to be missing.

I don’t buy that.

They definitely don’t give as much of a shit, but seem to be parading around with associates and friends when we win. The bus parade was very odd.

Fine, I hope you're right but look around you.

Any reference to the club's existence prior to King Powers takeover has been removed from the stadium, no reference to - or acknowledgement - of the club's previous achievements, trophies or history before that time, just nothing.

Other clubs don't do that - they celebrate their history and the lack of any of that from our club really bugs me. Has done for ages.

I may be wrong, will happily apologise if I am, but I think Top's involvement and interest in the Leicester community is also far less than that shown by his father.

What don't you buy.

The club has been rudderless for 3yrs or more (not a rudkin pun)

Top has allowed it to get in this whole mess because he's not been hands on. Then as soon as a pot is delivered he brings all his cronies out of the woodwork to celebrate it.

He's left everything to Susan and Jon and gave Brendan to much power. He failed to act early enough with Rodgers and done Feck All about Sue and Jon.

But hey ho let's fly a load of hangers on over from Thailand for a party weekend.

Its funny what people ignore when things are going well as It’s always been that way since day 1 that King Power took over, Naming the stadium and putting their names on the kit is solely to get the companies name out, we are always going to be an advertising mule for their bigger main brand

Has it only been like that since Vichai passed away or did this happen when he was still around?

I don’t particularly remember there being anything around the stadium before he passed away either

IF the expansion and surrounding developments do go ahead there is going to be a museum for it all

It was, but not quite as odd as parading a photograph of the Thai King with the players around the pitch in celebration of our winning the Premiership.

Unless His Majesty is an investor in the club, that was really odd. And even then, still very odd!

Not that odd. Let's bump lick the king so we get our licence renewed. I have every respect for Vichai and what he did for us.

But Top is not his father's son. Clueless in running the club and no longer chairman of KP. Says a lot about him.

Part of business is making on the spot decisions. He has not got that hard streak in him.

It’s sad we’ve turned into a community of fans that either love our Thai owners or hate them. I’m not defending some of the neglect shown by Top recently but I also don’t feel I have to despise him.. No ownership is perfect in football. There’s always something for fans to grumble about. Can our owners do better? Of course they can! Will they? They are trying. Are they making mistakes? Of course they are!

have they done more good than bad? Yes!

let’s wait and see how they get us out of this situation before judging.

as for the photo of the Thai king being paraded I believe in Thailand the royal family is very revered. Every Thai restaurant I’ve been in there is an almost god like worship and shrine thats front and center when you walk in. Who are we to criticize another culture? There’s superficiality in every aspect of life so let’s not start picking on them on things like that. We’ve been really great so far of being open minded more so than fans of other clubs!

when times are not great we should stick together not look for faults. Ramble over.

That’s because it’s against Thai law to speak against the royal family.

The current king is detested by a large section of Thai population - worth looking up

Kinda like every royal family around the world including the UK I guess.

horses for courses. I’m just saying that’s the Thai family’s personal choice to proudly represent the Thai king. I just don’t like seeing cultural differences being used to negatively criticize someone (just in general that’s all). Top and his family are super wealthy and if we want to be critical of that than have at it. It’s a good debate.

I’ll leave it at that.

Yeah,  my point is you either show off the king or the authorities will come after you. The lack of democracy and freedom in Thailand for their nationals is quite high. You can literally be arrested if you are publicly critical of the king.

I think Top's priorities have changed massively in the last few years. He's married, may start a family soon and I think football as a whole, and lcfc in particular, hasn't got the same importance in his life. I've just had the feeling the club will be sold, partly or in full, sooner or later. Up until then, we're just sleepwalking.

Given that it was Top's idea to stop selling players when they had a value and push for Europe instead I'd say he's well up for taking a risk or two. But I can't see this moving on at all until we have a few points in the board or even look like being safe. They missed the boat when we were a top half Prem side so now any expenditure is a risk.

Funny how people ignore the 100s of millions they have pumped into the club as well.

Wasn't king power valued at around £500 million when they took over?

I wonder how much king power is valued at now?

Guess it's swings and roundabouts they have been good for us and we have been good for them

$2.14bn as of 2017 according to Wikipedia.

Top and his family are worth $3.5bn according to Forbes.
