I appreciate that no one is above criticism and this is not a Rodgers in or a Rodgers out post.

But Can we not have a measured, adult coversation about Brendan Rodgers and his future at the club without taking the piss out of him?

I'm talking about comparing him to David Brent, photoshoping clown make up on him, taking the piss out of his teeth etc etc.

Whatever your opinion on him and his ability (or lack of it) to take the club forward he:

- is one of only two managers in our history to win a major domestic honour.

- has the highest win ratio of of any manager in our history.

- has two of the clubs top 4 highest finishes ever.

So criticise him yes, question him yes but for God's sake do it in a respectful, non personal manner that is the very least he deserves from Leicester fans.

Please just lighten up a little..

This forum is slowly being overrun by high horse riding moral supremacy seekers.

It would be an extremely miserable existence if all individuals took life seriously.

No idea what relevance that has to my comment (nor yours) but I do agree.

There's definitely some questions to asked and I'm sure Rodgers is aware of that.

His over achieved statement has really annoyed me a lot, but there maybe some psychology there I don't understand, I still want Brendan to manage the club but he needs to get a grip on the coaching, the transfers, the tactics because he's sailing close to the wind if he wants my support.

How about the  players and manager show some respect to the fans for a start? You don't get booed off after one bad match and the Leicester fans after years of  let downs and no hope proved their worth during the title winning season. The ground literally rocked like no other ground because we could see the effort being put in by players who by any standards were not supposed to win anything.

Respect has to be earned and I've seen nothing considering what theses players and manager are on  wage wise compared to the fan, to earn our respect this season . Please tell me exactly what I'm suppose to respect this season so far?

Its strange Martin O’Neill and Brian Little was adored by the fans yet Claudio Ranieri to an extent and Brendan Rodgers never really have.

Yes I notice that. Perhaps because they came when we were just a two bob club whereas the modern types came because of the size of the cheque.

I don't see the fans as being more disrespectful compared to previous managers. No one got up in arms about that.

I was unhappy with puel, but many fans gave him the benefit of the doubt for a long time.

The thing is, respect is earned. Mr. Rodgers threw the players and the fans under the bus after the Chelsea match. That showed very little respect for anyone in my opinion. It was dire management on ALL fronts - apart from the one that truly has any meaning for Rodgers. He put himself first, as usual.

I can totally understand people’s frustrations with him. He needs, in my book, to earn some respect back.

Ranieri is adored is he not? I don't think I've met one City fan that has a bad word to say about him.

Trouble is on Sunday his name is gonna get sung but Rodgers' name needs to be louder.

This is why I said Ranieri to an extent, title winning season yes, but it sort of wilted away the following season.

When Brian Little was in charge and we was struggling nobody wanted him to go as he was so liked.

I don't see his detractors being more disrespectful than usual. There seems to be more fans who love Brendan because of his success here and will support him through thick and thin, in fact. And fair enough. I honestly don't care who managers us. I just want to watch good football with a motivated team and a club that looks to be improving year on year.

Agree... but I dont see him addressing the flaws or setting up to excite.  He sets up to be cautious and we still lose ... ok we make mistakes, but we are not scoring at the other end.  I dont see good football and a motivated team.

I’m sorry but if you play with feathers, you get your arse tickled.

It hadnt always use to be like this..There was always the odd misgog in Pubs & on the Terraces mostly who liked nothing more than a dig...

But its become too  cynical & personal....The English use to respect & honour their Sporting heroes...

Actually Show Appreciation towards the opposition...My Dad & uncles, often said ( war-generation), they Never understood the booing & the direction

the Media was taking...If took out the Good old banter, or witty remarks & banter with both Set of players...& Fans...

The worse Mark up on it, People Dont Think there anything is wrong..!!

.Just look at Pitch-rage from parents who go down to watch their kids...across the Board in all sports..

I suppose the Bridge was crosses end of 60s start of the 70s, wenn hooliganism stepped up.

I remember within a couple of weeks Innocent English fans from Ipswich, Wham, L'pool fans were Set on and come under an hail of stones & Violent attacks,

Then usually from Hardened Industrial/mining European cities..The Police totally ignoring the attacks...Often because the rival Cities & Derbies had been doing so

for years.. My das said then...I Dont think the English dockers, miners, any Scousers will put up with it for long....The Scots already had their local Violent altercations since the 50s..Offen with secterism History fuelling it...Funny Thing was Any Major catastrophy, These same People would be First to Spring in to

help, the same guys they were pummeling the last weekend, or Stadium tragedies...

Well within a couple of years...English Fans Upped their input  & Made Hooliganism within & to their own print...

Sort of ..Well we are Pirates & bucanneers, lets prove we are the best...That period created a totally different football-animal..
