I appreciate that no one is above criticism and this is not a Rodgers in or a Rodgers out post.

 

But Can we not have a measured, adult coversation about Brendan Rodgers and his future at the club without taking the piss out of him? 

 

I'm talking about comparing him to David Brent, photoshoping clown make up on him, taking the piss out of his teeth etc etc. 

 

Whatever your opinion on him and his ability (or lack of it) to take the club forward he:

 

- is one of only two managers in our history to win a major domestic honour. 

 

- has the highest win ratio of of any manager in our history. 

 

- has two of the clubs top 4 highest finishes ever. 

 

So criticise him yes, question him yes but for God's sake do it in a respectful, non personal manner that is the very least he deserves from Leicester fans.

It's quite ironic (at best) and out right hypocritical (at worst) that you should call for a "measured, adult converstaion" about Rodgers when in the last week alone you resorted to calling folk "entitled babies" and "idiots" because you don't agree with their opinion or how they've expressed it. 

 

Wanting a reasonable, grown up debate on the matter is more than reasonable but it shouldn't just be when it suits you.

Also can people show respect to our former managers who have won stuff. I've seen people compare Rodgers' job to that of O'Neill, Pearson and Ranieri in the Rodgers thread. All managers that achieved here and all deserve respect for that.

I'm sorry but your wrong, yes some have said unnecessary stuff, but the vast majority are proud and fully endorse the nomination your always going to get the odd negative or humerous comment, from any fan base, we are certainly  not the worst set of fans passionate but not the worst.

I agree with the sentiment of this, but I've done it myself. Sometimes, taking the piss relieves the stress after watching a few terrible performances.

Doesn't make it right, but most of us have done it in one way or another.

....I have not read that topic as yet, but I was surprised to see the title come up!!!

I assumed it would have been judged within a niche area or within Leicester but not Through out the football or World leagues,. Great shop stopper but there are too many aspects of his game which lets him down.

  Someone posted in a response (in another topic) that we are on an open forum, where wit and sarcasm sit side by side, You have to expect the dichotomy of response when you visit these platforms.
