Contrary to our wiser assumptions and seeing how bad some of our defenders have been all season even if JJ and lil Wes aren't 100% coming back they will be hell of a lot better than what we've seen so far. I'm being cautiously optimistic but its based on how dreadful we've been defending its literally school boy errors week in week out. That should not happen at the elite premier league level.

Decent comeback but god our defence can't hold a line. Cags and especially Bertrand been poor.

I don't think Ricky travelled. He's not on the bench anyway.

There is no way to sugar coat this but we are absolute mess of a team. Somehow by luck or due to Napoli’s seriously weakened team, we may contrive to get through to the group stage but lets not fool ourselves we are simply terrible and limping along blindly and without any direction at the moment.

Eh? Do you not remember Maddison and Youri playing as a pair of 8s a season or so ago? Coincided with some of our best form under Rodgers?
