I’m guessing

                 Kasper

     Vester    Wilf.     Big Dan

                  Hamza

marc.     Youri.     Bouba.     Timmy

                Madders

                    Kel

Timmy is bloody useless as a left wing back, why not just play him on the right where he's at his best and Albrighton on the left where he's played before.

Or preferably a back 4 with Ndidi and Choudhury protecting them. That way Castagne and Wilf can at least do what they do best? Round pegs, round holes. It's going to be tough enough for of them all enough tonight without struggling positionally.

a ****ed squad that won two trophies... :appl:

Just think what we could have achieved if we'd had a non-****ed squad  :D  :scarf:

I just hope the players are as fired up and bent on revenge for last week as we are. Rodgers should pin a scan of Ricardo’s broken fibula on the dressing room door.

Hamza starts.

Sent off after 5mins.

Doesn't injure anyone.

Waste.

The way to piss off Klopp is to deny them points.

Getting players sent off, which might result in an injury to the Leicester player committing it, would be insane and playing into Klopps hands.

They want an easy night before Chelsea on Sunday.

Everyone behind the ball, run down the clock and try and nick a goal.

Klopps post match would be joyous

How is AFCON even being allowed to happen? Bad enough it is held mid season but during a pandemic when teams across the world are on their arse. Madness.

... .we played in the Euro not too long ago!!!

After last week, I'd rather we go in hard and be physical with their players. Rile them up. Rattle them. Robertson isn't playing because Spurs did just that.

We're too nice as a team and while I don't advocate players getting injured, I'm happy to make an exception for tonight purely for the reason because Liverpool as a club are just vile and so very unlikeable these days. Some of their fans need bringing down a peg or two as well.

Would love to see a raucous atmosphere tonight with deafening boos each time Jota and Morton touch the ball (even though I know Morton's only a kid and probably shouldn't be roundly despised for one silly challenge, however devastating it was for Riccy).

Liverpool's defence is always there for the taking if we play the right way. The high line and vast caverns of space that TAA and Robertson leave can be exploited if we play like we did in the second half on Boxing Day.

The trouble will be keeping Liverpool out. We'll need luck, lots of it, as well as 100% tireless endeavour and concentration. It's going to be quite a task, but I'm always an optimist (even when the realist in me nags at my dreams).

Come on City! :scarf:

So you think someone who has played  LB/LWB quite a few times in his career will be a worse left back than a right winger who occasionally fills in at RB?

...doubting Thomas...!!!

A flat back five, and we play on the break. We are too easily bypassed, we need to play deep (especiallyin this game), we just need to play that final ball more accurately and take the right options (when in the last third) when they present themselves.

I wouldn't argue with much of that but we have to play hard but with discipline and intelligence.

I know you live in the same town as me, and there's not many things in this world I hate more than Liverpool FC and their insufferable, plastic fans.

A lot of my best mates are Liverpool and tbf some actually go but, although I think the world of them as mates, I hate them when it comes to football
