I hate these type of comments. Just because they get paid a lot of money, it doesn’t mean you can just play every other day while avoiding injuries and playing to the same high standard.

They are highly skilled athletes doing a job which 99.999% of the population couldn’t do. You can’t compare what they do to a warehouse worker etc.

Plus the more injuries the less value for the fans and we pay enough.

the thing is the can play everyday, it’s not ideal but they can.

just like a nurse has to go to work ever day.

stop pandering to them!

Oh come on, ridiculous comment. You obviously know nothing about fitness and how the body recovers from exercise etc.

By the way, nurses don’t work every day either.

Is he?

Or is it just a bit of media presence following some good form?

He's not always on TV doing interviews.

He has a very active social media profile which believe it or not he is allowed. So does Fofana who's actually really flashy on there too, but doesn't even get a fraction of the stick Maddison unfairly gets (I'd obviously rather neither got any stick, as opposed to Fofana getting more).

...both seems to have a different sense of humour and seemingly intellectual approach to their media persona!!!

One of them shows a book depicting the history of his new club on his arrival and the other delves into run of the mill media promotions.

Madders is doing a kind of Mouriho here... taking all the potentially negative press off the team and manager before the Norwich game.

What you're seeing here is actually a very rare genuine act of kindness.

(For the slow jos... if we underperform in next game people will blame it on Maddison being flashy.)

Firstly, that was Daka.

Secondly, 'delves into'? You're telling me if Fofana (or any other player high on confidence) had an opportunity to do media promo work, they'd say no?

Most people don't like to see others doing well. They certainly don't like others to do better or earn more than them. And yet most people vote for a political party who's raison d'etre is to divert more money away from every day people.

Don't try to understand it, it won't make any more sense the more you think about it.

About time he did this, I wish more players could be more similar to fans.

It's a strange one. I no they should be allowed to do whatever they want but surely the risk of these pair catching covid here is pretty high.

Higher than going to a football match which they do every weekend?

Presume there would be no issue if we saw one of the coaches there?

Theyll be a massive hoo haa over it fro  the TV companies and the journalists because they're bitter they're losing out on having something to schedule but it's pathetic really. No issue with it.

I imagine there is a lot more of a chance in catching it at the darts.

Be interested to see the reaction if Maddison is out of the game at the weekend with covid.

I'm not saying they shouldn't go it's up to them what they do.
