Best way. New Years Eve out is always shit and a let down anyway. Last decent New Year out I had was the millennium and I was well under age.

Same here although I was well over age. Sure doesn't seem like 22 years ago and I was 44 and our eldest daughter was 7. :blink:

I feel similarly about trips away: 2.5 years since I went outside GB & 3.5 years since I left the British Isles.
