Cannon had no future the moment cooper said in an interview we had no strikers after vardy and Daka were both injured, he later changed it to no experienced strikers - I knew he was cooked then.

people will say it was when he wasn’t used in pre season at all as well…

Knowing the way our Club is run, I would not be surprised if this ends up as Kramaric 2.0.  Never given a real chance in terms of actual playing time.

When he came here, Kramaric was already a fully capped Croatian international who was signed for a then club record from a top flight side where he'd just been the league's player of the season. He scored something like 30+ goals in 40 games for Rijeka.

He always had a high ceiling but he happened to sign just as we were realising that the striker we took a punt on from Fleetwood might actually be genuine world class.

Cannon was a kid we took a chance on from Everton's academy because he was cheap and we thought we could flip him in a year or so. He'd previously done a spell in the Championship when he'd had a good few months in a purple patch. He wasn't even meant to be anything other than fourth choice last year.

I don't hate or dislike him. I don't wish him any harm or misfortune. It would obviously be great if he became a brilliant Leicester player. But the level of classic foxestalk "becoming good by not playing" that gets applied to Cannon is probably the most over the top we've ever seen?

He's done nothing at all to ever demonstrate he'll be a Premier League footballer other than just being young and scoring, like, two goals for us off the bench? Harry Panayiotou managed that.

The fawning and now mourning over him is absolutely bizarre.

It is so weird and I have no idea why it happens, assume something to flog the club with?   :dunno:

We signed Cannon with a stress fracture of the back.

True, but we've openly said we need a striker because we're short of options. I really wouldn't be too surprised if we did go in for him, the Muppets in charge of our transfers are capable of anything, but surely they're not stupid enough to sign an injured striker to give us back up to our other injured striker?

We are so gonna sell Cannon and be left with just Vardy and daka aren't we

I don’t think so, yes Cannon will go but will bring a body in, possibly a dead one.

You're going to look really stupid when Cannon goes on to score 100+ goals in the Bundesliga and helps Ireland reach a World Cup Final.

Thanks for the lecture.  I thought Vardy had a very difficult start and eventually became a legend (and he was 26 at the time)??

Vardy showed enough to be picked at least, but yes he had a tough time, and Cannon has had plenty of opportunity for the same instead of Daka or rotating or even as a sub. He just is not fancied it seems.

Enzo and Cooper would seemingly prefer a dead body to be fair.

I reckon you've got about an hour to hear of a rumour before we get to the point nothing is happening for the day. We've got no chance of turning a deal around in less than that timelol

We've had a rumour.   And it is horrendous.

No, Enzo preferred 3 better strikers, and Cooper doesn't think he's Premier League ready (he's not btw)

Cannot wait for the realisation that we got promoted and immediately went from

Vardy, iheanacho, Daka and Cannon

to

Vardy, Ayew and Daka

Tbf Ayew has impressed me in his first few appearances and I think Daka will suit a counter attacking system so much better.
