Haven’t most of our best signings come out the blue, what is the constant need for rumours or links, all that happens anyway is we get 100 pages on how the mighty have fallen being linked to ‘x’ & we are joke, & that player is shite, & & &

Ruud has said they are looking & I’m happy to take that at face value, if it turns out to be bullsh!t then he’ll get the backlash when the window shuts I’d imagine.

Most of our best signings don’t go under the radar usually as the selling club want as many other clubs to know to try force up price etc. The signings like Ayoze Perez that came under the radar were overpriced and poor signings.

However it should be apparent to anyone after how many windows that turn out to be horrendous for us (when did we last have a good one) the signs are clearly there that we’ve yet again not planned this very well and given ourselves too much to do now in the remaining 14 days.

We all hope JR will pull something out of his backside and give Ruud a fighting chance of surviving but rather than kidding ourselves (again) we all know it’s just his own head he’ll pull out.

If Rudkin and Top don’t deliver then he will walk, and that means we are championship bound it’s absolutely crucial we bring in reinforcements in this window.

There is no chance he walks until the end of the season.

Why on Earth would they want that? They lose millions....

Well they are certainly doing a good job of making it look like they don't care.

I think you will be surprised.

Ok, so you are saying he will work at the end of the window if he doesn't get what he wants?

Give me a timeframe?

I sense he's frustrated with the lack of transfer activity if we don't deliver with his targets I don't think he sticks around, if he does it will be a blessing. The signs are ominous, I hope we deliver and Ruud stays on, if we back him I have no doubt we can stay up, it just seems very lackadaisical from the board yet again.

I think he's frustrated in general. Lack of signings, the squad maybe lacks more quality than he thought (not helped by Mads and Wilf getting injured since he's been here). I think he's frustrated that he hasn't been able to turn them around, so frustrated with himself.

He shouldn't be, it's not his fault, the blame lies solely with the ownership / Rudkin in this instance.

Agree with this. BUT, if he does, I reckon Sean Dyche could name his price.

Feel like you've just created the worst ITV daytime TV gameshow in history there.

"I'm your host Bradley Walsh, welcome along to SEAN DYCHE NAMES HIS PRICE"

All gone very quiet hasn't it? What an absolute shambles this club is.

We had tonnes of rumours early in the window and only 1 was real. We work (If at all) in private and things break as we're nearer to the end or when other clubs leak things

It may well be, but I'm not sure that a lack of baseless rumours flying around is much of a barometer of that.

Spot on. Also, the club will be re-calibrating their budget with Cannon likely moving on so we may have different targets.

If he's so shit why are stronger championship teams chasing him? Silly idea. We're going to fix our broken defence around about the time when we no longer have a functioning striker on our books!!

Because we cannot have our cake and eat it I assume. We have to decide as a club, and with Ruud's preference you would hope, what is the most important thing for us to address, and striker ain`t it.

This basically. Cannon is going to be the Kramaric for this generation. I rate him but needs must. I think Cannon will really come out in the next 3 to 4 years. I dont think he is that player now. We need players from day 1 at the moment. That is genuine criticism of the club but this is a move that works towards fixing that mistake.

Agree, fully believe Cannon will come good in the future, but the question is; if Cannon came good tomorrow, would he be more valuable than a big improvement at CB or a winger? Not likely in my opinion.

Not a rumour but saw Emmanuel Dennis available from forest. Would not surprise me one bit with our recent recruitment

I’d rather we went for Awoniyi.
