Can’t criticise looking at up coming young players from the lower leagues, however, do we have the enough to play with to do it now.

If Top's genuinely keen to open the cheque book. Make the signings and take the 2-4 point hit next season.

It's either that or we slide into the champ and likely continue to slide into League one within 3 seasons.

The positive is that if we do keep sliding, we'll eventually find Top and Rudkins natural level.

Champions of the Evo Stick league you'll never sing that! :scarf:

Should be making at least one of these signings per season. Not sure why we stopped.

The obscene wages and contracts given out to has-been players wiping any kinds of funds away?

Somethings off here. Whilst it was clear we'd done the majority of our budget in the summer as the elusive striker turned out to be restricted to loan options, we've reached desperation levels in our pursuit of staying up.

Maybe the notion we'd spend now and sell in June to comply is off the table because we already need to sell to comply in June and relegation would make that unfeasible. Sorry state of affairs if so.

However Ruud's been told there's a level of funds available that surely isn't just a £3m permanent transfer and a loan, especially when Tom Collomosse who I respect has said we're targeting up to 5 new players.

A loan is likely to cost us £1-2m in fees anyway which is no different than a £5-10m transfer over 4-5 years. I'd be targeting those whose contracts are up in the summer and value leagues like Scandinavia and Japan.

I wonder if we were targeting players but plans changed, as we were looking to fund these moves through the sales of Souttar, Cannon and Okoli.

My head is spinning with all these incomings

Reckon need more outgoings than incomings, given how the season has gone so far.

On that basis we’re fully stocked everywhere!

Not really, center back has an even worse case of substandard than midfield, and we are arguably best stocked in midfield more than anywhere else.

Grim.

yeah but Cooper had all the players fit unlike RVN.....had Mads, Fatawu, Wilf and Ricky P

comparing chalk and cheese atm,

think the main thing here, the shit show is behind the scenes in the higher up positions, making signings that just dont make sense

Sure, except maybe on the wings. Midfield is one of the few areas we have both numbers and some quality though.

We have a lack of quality everywhere.

We also have no space left in the squad.

Also, we have at least two players for each position.

We have a lack of quality everywhere. We also had a summer transfer window where nobody wanted to come to us because we were looking likely to get a points deduction. This window, we look increasingly like we're relegated.

Say what you like about Cooper but his ugly shithouse footy was at least more effective. I think the idea behind Cooper was to get us through the season whichever way possible. But, he lost the dressing room.

RVD doesn't seem to have a plan we're more open but we score less. He praised Daka, then won't play him even when Vardy has to do 3 games in a week.

We need a striker and a Winger. Doesn't matter if they are on loan or permanent signings. Doesn't really matter about the ages either as long as they make a big enough difference that we can put some points on the board. We have nothing on the bench. And Daka doesn't suit our style of play.

We need quality now. We have/had opportunity to improve our squad, now that the threat of points deductions have gone, but Top and his buddies are doing nothing to avoid us getting relegated, whilst the true fans suffer with loss after loss!
Our club is becoming a joke, our rival fans are laughing at us whilst Top does nothing😡
