I’m sorry I dare criticise the UFS. I know you’re the UFS spokesperson on here however I find the whole ultra thing embarrassing. Just like palace. I’m all in favor of standing, chanting and singing sections and always stand and sing at Leicester games however I don’t like the ultra groups. No place for it in English football.

Can you enhance on what our supposed ultra group in US do that has no place in English football?

Yes!!! Madders would love that too!

The more I think about this - the better idea it seems as it's a simple, repeatable, tune. It would also get the whole stadium involved as there are no lyrics to learn or language that might embarrass the faint hearted

I used to love it pre game at filbert Street when we used to show our appreciation to the players by chanting the individual names and they'd give us a clap, bring it back!

Chants used to be for Smudger Smith, Lineker, me, Larry May, Killer Feeley, Ali Mauchlen, John O'Neill, Ian Wilson, Ian Andrews, Wallington, Jari Rantanen. Never managed to create one for Kevin MacDonald

It's Madders time
There's no need to be afraid
At Madders time
We let in goals and our Champions League hopes fade

And in our KP of plenty
We can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around At Madders time

Before the UFS Maddison tune there was just the simple "Maaa-dison, Maa-dison" for a few games.

Sometimes you don't need to think of new tunes or have a dance ditty behind it, just go for the simple stuff. It gets far more people joining in because let's face it unless it's Vichai had a dream, half the happy clappers can't be arsed learning the words anyway.

I've seen "Bad Medicine" by Bon Jovi suggested before with

Score goals just like James Maddison

James Maddison is who we need

Shake it up, just like James Maddison

as the lyrics and so on...

Could we not do the darts song and end with Mad-di-Son?

Been trying to fit something into this tune all week.

He's not got a song purely as his name's awkward to fit into most tunes that are used widely, so that means singing something to a new tune so you're already on the back foot singing something that's not known.

The darts tune would be great, though I think you could fit in “James Mad-I-Son” at the end

whatnis the current Maddison chant? I don’t think I’ve heard it.

If we can get the James Maddison into three syllables to match the oi oi oi then it could work but thought we may struggle more than just Mad-di-Son, but happy to be proven wrong!

Might be me but it sounds like four syllables, however I don’t know what they’re meant to be saying. Longer James then quick Mad-I-son

It is you. Definitely 3 syllables. It's just "Oi, oi, oi." You could say James Mad-son to make that fit. Maddison on its own works, though.
