The loans haven’t worked out well for him. Personally, it hasn’t worked for him. He had issues back home he felt he had to deal with. He had to break the cycle. Going on loan during covid must have been tough for any players needing to do that. Staying in temp accomodation and no socialising sounds like a recipe for mental health problems to me, especially if you never get a game.

 

I can't imagine that aspect is unusual for any recent loans, whatever else has gone on with Benchovic.

Keep seeing Kramarić listed as a flop, I think that's a bit harsh on him. Right player but wrong time. Unlike the others, Kramarić (and maybe Ibborra) have done something with their careers since leaving us.
