I cant believe we only got to see Wes for one season in a Leicester shirt.

... and even that was from our locked-down homes!

We won't sell him this year and I don't know why so many of you are already convinced he has gone

Sorry to disappoint...

We’d accept £85m. We must also remember that then brings the fee down to £68m.

....just to clarify, we paid £31.5m for him, and should we sell at £85m the difference is £53.5m!!!

With a 20% sell-on fee (coming off the profit, being £10.7m) the total to us would be £74.30m.

We'd take 85m. Our issue is spending the cash, we'd probably buy a couple of players with the 50m or so profit, but we'd have to overpay for them and they'd probably turn out to be duds knowing our recent recruitment. If he goes as well, we may have to write off our top 7 chances already and just accept this will be a season of bedding in and trying to finish in the top 10.

No Bert, agreed. However we do not need to sell him and we don’t know how badly his head has been turned. A good season again, which he will have, sees £100 million as the price next summer. He will get over the disappointment- we all do in life.

Tielemans has wanted out since the FA Cup win and his performances have steadily gotten worse & worse to the point where he's almost definitely out the door and we're going to get next to nothing for him.

So with Cucurella (62m) that take Chelsea spending to 160m odd.

Be surprised to see the spending another 85m, that's would be a whopping 245m in one window excluding other targets they have been linked with.

Yeah, didn't they get linked with Frenkie De Jong too? Ridiculous club. In the meantime, they're spending all this money only to start the season with a midfielder as their main striker in Havertz

We've said multiple times he's not for sale and he has just signed a 5 year contract. It's late in the window and the season starts on Sunday I very much doubt it

Thing is, with Rudiger and Christensen out, old man Silva plus a load of kids, of whom the most likely is Chalobah, they need to do something if they want to be a top4 candidate, that’s all before they sign a striker

Is it just new owner hubris?

Agreed, just think it's all a bit scattergun. They really do need a striker. Maybe these rumours of Aubameyang are accurate.

Sell fofana.

sign danny simpson.

Bring kingy back.

WIn the league.

And bring Big Wes and Huthie out of retirement and just park them in the 6 yard area. Even if Wes is on crutches I be he'd top the league stats for blocks.

He came out yesterday and said he wants to fight for a starting spot with Lewandowski and that he had wanted to be at Barcelona forever so he isn’t leaving after 6 month

Won’t please Barca I guess, but who cares

I’d take Simpson back on a season long deal every day of the week

Cucurella to Chelsea completed deal, £65 million

That is insane. How have Brighton managed that? Makes the deals for Mahrez and Chilwell look like bargains.

Good news for us as there's no way Chelsea are buying Fofana too you'd think.
