These Polls are so funny.   If we beat Liverpool, will it be taken down?

I really think this should be left to Top, Susan and Rudders to sort out with BR and his Team of coaches and the Players.

Our Board rarely gets things wrong.

Can't decide whether the amount of system changes at half times suggest he got the starting system wrong or that in a positive way he's reacting to problems i.e. if he didn't he'd be criticised for not changing anything. When you have to replace players at half time and switch systems it usually suggests somethings wrong with the original game plan, like on Sunday Thomas and Barnes weren't coping with the two right sided Forest players so he's tried to address that but I presume we had watched Forest, the Arsenal game, their recent matches and identified that danger?

People saying "but who could do a better job"... sometimes a different approach, set up, voice, etc produces better. Managers have shelf lives at clubs and I would imagine BR comments about a summer refresh is his way of acknowledging his is close. A refresh allows him to install a new crop under his terms and a sense he's regaining control of a group hes clearly losing. So the wider question probably is will he survive until he gets the chance, or will Top see more merit in holding the group together largely but with another head coach in charge.

Would you really, from what you've seen and what is known of Rodgers historically, trust him with the family silver and 'install a new crop under his terms'?

I certainly wouldn't. I believe it could lead to the ruination of our club.

This. As bad as it sounds I didn't go yesterday. I had a ticket but I passed it on to my mate who was desperate to go. I'm so done with football at all levels currently - the fans at aways are awful, drug taking is rife, the violence in the town centre, chants about ridiculous things, one of our fans actually punching a player. It was all so inevitable and I'm about done with it.

That's before I even get on to sky sports, talksport, the media hype and then the actual football.

It makes me feel sorry for the likes of the UFS to be honest as events like yesterday will put there attempts back a few levels, there are decent fans amongst us but the minority will always bring the good guys down.

Every club has its trouble makers but when the players, management and club staff seem to have some to then there is a problem and just changing the manager isn't going to stop that.

Hate to say it but the club is becoming rotten and changing BR is just the easy option. Its like sticking a plaster on a crack in the hoover dam.

Don't want him to go. But sometimes it is about having a manager to set things up and another to come in and do something with that set up. Many on here recognise puel was a transitional manager in this sense, could be the same here. Alternatively we could get in someone who has a new manager bounce for a month and then we start seeing cracks again. We definitely need to get rid of any player that has burnt out their desire at this club.

Not to mention their various giants totally bullying us at every set piece. Could be as bad as Liverpool.

Sorry are you under the impression that this poll actually decides what happens in real life?

He's having a mare atm, but I don't see a viable alternative out there, and I don't think responsibility rests unequivocally with him. So still in currently.

Pirlo, Gattuso , Lucien Favre and Fonseca I would think would be good options, yes they haven’t managed in the premier league before but they have decent experience.

You have actually answered your own question there - this poll is pointless in the scheme of things other than to enable people a choice on something they realistically cannot influence.

Started the season looking up, finishing the season looking down. Ambition should always be European football. That’s on an extreme tightrope and involves at two occasions where we have to get past our Achilles heel.

I can take the odd Spurs at home or some of the mental meltdowns but I can’t take losing to two teams of lower quality but because the atmosphere gets a bit loud, they cave in.

Rodgers has rid the squad of personality and then digs at the players for not showing any. Whilst taking very little responsibility himself.

I would have said he has the Conf League to save himself but as I said that means performing in one hostile atmosphere and the manager to actually win a knockout European fixture.

We’ve gone from being the ambitious underdog to the next Southampton

Would like him to turn it around, but doesn't seem like it'll happen - it's become too stale and predictable, there's no belief in the team anymore. As soon as there's some pressure they completely fall apart.

Fully expect him to go and the majority of players suddenly remember how to play well again though.

It's gauging fan opinion on a football fan forum.

I don't understand how anyone can find an issue with it.

Nothing we say on here will actually be taken into consideration, including team line-ups etc, should we just close the forum down?

His stock is falling quickly. Its pretty unimaginable a top 6 club will come in and take him off our hands.

Can see him ending up at somewhere like Valencia.

Pretty sure everyone said this about Salah/Mane prior to the Liverpool game in December.

In. Still. Though I'm halfway up the fence after yesterday. I really, really want him to turn this around, because what he's doing in the long term with the youngsters is fantastic and hugely important. I also don't know who we could replace him with who would replicate that. I just want us to get through this season, win the UECL, and rebuild in the summer.

No, it just needs a two day hiatus after each bad result  lol

West Ham have our number.

Moyes has had BR's pants down in every single encounter and it will be no different this time.

True. West Ham have been impressive against us in recent seasons.
