Wheels. 100%

And I'll explain my reasoning behind it...

The largest manufacturer of tyres in the world, is Lego. Google it.

You've all underestimated the amount of Lego wheels if you reckon the answer is doors.

You bastard lol :appl:

Am surprised no-one has mentioned lorries yet. 2 doors and 10 wheels on the cab, 2 doors and 12 wheels on the trailer (or something like that), plus the steering wheel, volume knob etc same as with cars.

Went to the gym earlier and their were hundreds of lockers there (each with a door)

Think about how many lockers there are in the world...

Good shout re lockers, but also in the gyms you've got wheels on the weight machines that route the cables, wheels on all the treadmills etc to help manoeuvre them plus wheels on the rowing machines that the seats roll on, so if you think of all the equipment in a typical gym those wheels soon add up too!

This seems like one of those arguments were you quickly pick a side and don't change it, regardless of any evidence or further thought.... Like religion!

That clearly isn’t true.

It’s the kind of comment made by people who think there are more doors in the world. In my opinion, we should burn people like you. Death to door people. And even if you don’t believe there are more doors, you probably like the wrong kind of wheel. Again, death to you.

In other news, I’m handing out free pdfs about the great wheel to cement my place in wheel heaven…it’s wheely great!

This has to be the most pointless question in history?

for the record Id say wheels.

1 car has 6 wheels if you include the steering wheel and the spare wheel

edit going to change my answer to doors just walked in the kitchen

But how many drawers are in there? Each drawer will have either 2 or 4 wheels, your dishwasher if you have one probably has 16...

Very Gareth Keenan delivery. Bristol accents are just funny :crylaugh:

I love how quickly the initial confidence turns as soon as someone starts throwing in things. Feels like a parody lol

Wheels on Lego. (Who are the largest makers of tyres in the world)

On model cars, which usually only have two doors, if any that actually open.

Wheels on trains.

Wheelbarrows.

Fairground rides.

Spinning wheels, colour wheels, big wheels, training wheels....

Wheelchairs, tricycles, quadbikes, tanks (what do you think turns the tracks?), lorries, buses, coaches, rollerskates, skateboards...

It's wheels.

Even wheels have wheels.

It's almost a Stephen Merchant script. Comedy gold :D

Has anyone mentioned advent calendars?

Each advent calendar has 24 doors - and how many million calendars appear at Christmas (and are then destroyed/recycled)?

The answer to the question could be seasonal. There might be more wheels at certain times of year but more doors at Christmas.

Is a gate a door? Essentially the same thing right, so if a gate is a door then logic gates are created millions of times a day in circuit boards.

If a gate is not a door then ignore the above.

So much to think about...

I think the conversation has moved on from when is it a window and not a door too quickly... does a microwave have a door or is it actually a window???

What about rollers... do they count as wheels? there are such things as conveyor belts with roller wheels.

Although put me on Team Wheel. My kids have boxes and boxes of toy cars - 4 wheels on each car, so I think there are more wheels in in those boxes than there are doors in our entire street....

Don’t the lockers have wheels in their locking mechanism though? As well as in all the gym machinery? Almost every weight machine and treadmill has 4 wheels for the pulleys to go round. I reckon in a gym the number of wheels outweighs the number of doors.

It’s got to be wheels for me. People thinking office chairs are small scale. So many gear wheels and wheels wrapped around pulleys and mechanisms. Every non-digital clock and watch has multiple wheels in its mechanisms for example
