That contract is an absolute masterclass from the club. He'll easily break £100m when he leaves in a few seasons. But it shows his commitment to the club's future too.

The fact he's performing like this WHILE FASTING too is just incredible.

Told all the Rodgers Out brigade this would happen to our defence when he comes back... what do I win? (Humble pie's out for delivery, by the way guys) x

So basically if we lose one player that we didn't even have 2 seasons ago, we can never finish top half again. God help us after next season :D

So one player makes our team. What a daft comment that is. What we gonna do when he’s gets sold? Shall we just put a application to join league one in now?

I'm assuming it was somewhat tongue in cheek haha. If it wasn't then, at least I have pie to look forwards to :D

The pandemic has done weird things to my memory. Was last night his first competitive home game in front of fans?

I believe it was which is crazy really, apart from the Villarreal game of course but that was what maybe a quarter of the stadium full?

In front of a full capacity, yes. He did play against Spurs in front of 10k fans on the final day of last season before going off injured.

Didn't he play the Spurs home game in front of the small crowd last game of the season?

Went off early injured

Miniature Van Dijk

Plays like him imo

Big shout but he may well end up as good as him too

Makes a huge difference to finally have a CB who can play some football and where you aren’t worried we’ll concede many if we ain’t scoring up the other end.

We have to keep him fit, sign another very good CB alongside him (Evans too injury prone now) and next season could be a very different one

This team has been defensively awful ever since he got injured and it shows how much we had to rely on him

We will be fine when Fofana goes, we will have had a a warm up when our other one man team leaves, Vardy.

Ok folks house points on offer as usual to the first correct answer :

Q. where can you watch Wesley Fofana playing against Leicester this weekend?

*Members of Slytherin are as usual iineligible.

Can't see past him ending up at PSG for the 23/24 season after signing for £120 million smackeroonies

Great value if he's with them for the next decade.
