Hat lost on the train back to Amsterdam

Evening folks,

 

My mate Callum has left his bucket hat that he has had for years on the train to Amsterdam that left from the stadium. Has anyone on that train picked it up?

You go on twitter or reddit or something and someone's lost like a children's toy they had when they were five, forty years ago, and all they can remember is a vague description of its ears and yet someone knows who it and someone else knows who's got a spare one and then someone else offers to pay to mail it to them and before you know it someone's been reunited with a precious lost childhood relic through the power of the Internet. 

 

Then you come on foxestalk and have the audacity to ask for help and it's wall to wall willy puller taking the piss out of you for trying.

Would Anyone pick up a random Hat they seen left on a train? I wouldn’t it’s been on some ones sweaty bonce. Why wasn’t he wearing it?

Jeez, what a bunch of miserable Fuchs on here. That thing’s been with him while he’s represented City throughout Europe, Asia, and America.

He’s not wearing it out at the clubs at night— he just wants to see if anyone picked up the damn hat on the way. 
 

Anyway, we’ve had enough kit threads to know that none of us on FT know how to dress.

Have you contacted the Dutch rail company, I think they’d call it their “Losht properchee deparchmench.” Email the train time with a photo of the hat, might get lucky.
Just hope they’re not PSV fans or it’ll be used as a portaloo.

Well, I have sympathy Callum. I lost my hat too. But it's not the hat that I mourn but all the badges I had on it. Including the one we got in the stadium when we lifted the Premier League trophy,

Or - you start a thread about a lost hat in the stadium and someone starts one a day later about a lost hat on a train.
