Where did that come from? lol

I didn't know he could move, let alone play a ball like that to Kristiansen leading to the winner!

Credit where credit is due on his performance but I'd be pissed off knowing it was attitude rather than Rodgers tactics as to why he's not been playing anywhere near that level.

Wonder why smith didn’t even need to watch Brendan’s golden boy in action even once to work out that he’s on a new level of pure dog sh1te.

Ho hum.

He has shown glimpses of that performance at times this season,  but that was his best performance.

He isn’t a CDM, and when given that extra licence to run at the opposition, he looked great.

Amazing what a bit of belief and confidence can do. I know he’s been poor but at one point he did play superbly for Lille. If we can get half of that player back for the run in then that could be massive.

Smith's showed confidence in Bouba by keeping him on the full 90 aswell, carrying a yellow card in that position is danger.

Happy for him. Get his confidence up and the *ahem* fans off his back.

Maybe there wasn't someone on the sidelines telling him he shouldn't.

Yeah I agree. Previously he was doing what Rodgers wanted him to which was clearly the wrong thing

That second half showed that if he fancies it he’s almost unplayable! He literally has everything required to be a top talent just needs the desire on a consistent basis to be 1

Thought I’d only see a performance like that from him after I’d had a lunch of magic mushroom soup, followed by magic mushroom risotto followed by magic shroom sorbet finished off with a magic mushroom coffee

Wow. This is a player.

We paid huge money for him.

This goes to show how damaging Rodgers was to the club. He was going to relegate us ($$$). He was leaving valued assets dwindle in value by playing them out of position in a negative setup and coaching them into self doubting risk-adverse players.

Soumare. Soyuncu (now leaving on a free). Praet (also leaving on a free). Perez (also leaving on a free). Maybe, just maybe, Perez is not as bad as many Foxes fans thought he is - I always thought there is a player in him but never given a proper chance to play positive football upfront with another forward alongside him. Just imagine.

So Rodgers has costed us tens of millions in transfer value of various players. And of course, also our long term decline.

Credit where credit is due, I've been one of his biggest critics, but that second half was very decent indeed. Still some misplaced passes but drove the ball forward with intent and purpose.

I personally thought it was good management keeping him on the entire game even though  he had been carded . You often see players taken off after getting a yellow but I think keeping on will give him confidence that the coaching staff trust him .

I was never the biggest Rodgers hater and fair enough he didn't get the backing he wanted, but the treatment of Soyuncu is being shown to be a terrible decision as was his backing of Ward. If Soumare turns out to be a decent footballer then Rodgers really did lose the plot.

I think Rodgers is a little goblin and it's beyond doubt he didn't get the best of plenty of players - but you cannot blame him for Soumare failing to track back more times than anybody would care to remember, surely? I think that's a bit far fetched. The guy barely looked arsed at points.

Outstanding today. We’ll done Bouba

Whatever happens, at least Deano helped increase the value of Bouba if we eventually sell him, rather than going on the cheap.

Oh wait, that is pretty much the entire squad.
