Spurs Pre Game

It’s spurs. I want to beat them but understand it’s a B team fixture with Thursday looming. Players however still need to gel and get or retain match fitness... I wouldn’t be surprised to see a stronger side than people are anticipating. Vardy in particular needs some match sharpness so I’d like to see him get a half hour.

So it’s 15:26 in Perth, I’ve already been drinking for 2 hours.  I’m at a music festival with some great Aussie music, it finishes at 9pm ( ie kick off) and this is the first day free with my lovely wife for god knows how long.  Spurs can lick my hairy arse.  I don’t care!  
 

ps great AM is Missy Higgins, Xavier Rudd and birds of Tokyo.  Aparrently.

Perez plays better in the 10 position, and Soumaré might be better in a 2 man midfield (as he played in Lille) and with his French mate alongside him telling him what to do. Looks quite a workmanlike midfield but want to keep it tight and avoid a pasting. 
 

Just want to get through this one and onto the big one next Thursday

Honestly can’t see this being a game the players will be going all out to win knowing Roma away is Thursday if any of the normal starters play. Don’t like the thought of big dan and cags against Kane son 😂 a point would be great but not holding out for anything today. Just no injuries please

Think it won't be as bad as we're all fearing. Should be 1-1, so when Kane's goals are factored in: probably 5-1.

The players will be all out to win.  

 

It won't be the same players who play against Roma.  The team won't  be as strong.

Slow start, go one nil down. Quickly concede a second. Very passive and disorganised first half.
 

Come out at half time and look half arsed for 20 minutes, maybe even scoring a consolation before they go up the other end and finish us on the counter attack.

Haha this is great. A bit rough on those that have traveled but everyone knows the score realistically.

If you're a sports person at the pinnacle of your game....you want to win every single match. Yes there may be changes but whoever plays needs to give 110% given a) how crap the season has been and b) people have paid a lot of cash to travel and watch them.... especially given the current financial climate. 

 

Our injuries are almost done so we can't use that excuse forever. 

 

Rest players/ lose  is ok....giving up and not having any drive is not.

I am going to go for a 3-0 Tottenham win.

 

Kane is guaranteed at least one of them.

 

We'll make changes, we'll be absolutely no threat what so ever going forward so it will be based on damage limitation at the back.

 

Couldn't really care, it's a nothing game other than pride.

 

Everything rides on Roma away. If it means putting out a weaker team and getting schooled, but it being the difference to beating Roma, I'm happy.
