Not having a go mate but I hate this term, being 'in control of', for me you're only controlling a game at 3-0+ up and keeping possession. You can't control a game at 0-0. That's the BS that Rogers believes it.

Defensively today we have been shocking and I’m afraid it again shows how we have a decent first team, but the squad is bang average.

This has been the problem under Rodgers tenure. Our squad players are nowhere near the mark. Amartey, Soumare, Perez… none of them good enough to progress the club any further 

We don't have the budget or the reputation to put together the squad of first eleven players though.

Passing between defenders and playing back to defence isn’t being in control of a game, it’s a safe yet unproductive tactic, what we do now is what has been the downfall of many teams the last few years, Arsenal, Man U etc. it’s anti football, and you deserve what you get by playing it.
