At some point you have to help yourself. Can't rely on others forever.

Exactly. Look how hard Bournemouth are fighting.

Let's face it.  Liverpool are spent.  Last week's result was the exception, not the rule.

Klopp's fullbacks who can't or won''t defend only worked when the rest of the machine was purring.  But Van Dijk is about as useful as Vestergaard right now and Konate can't be arsed.

Between the demands of modern pressing football (certainly Klopp's) and the gradually increasing number of games, players' spans at the very top level are starting to shorten.  This is another near-total rebuild.

The main positive from this is that if Bournemouth lose this after the 2-0 comeback last week I can see then crumbling mentally. Losing to Arsenal and Liverpool is no bad thing but getting 0 points when they're fighting so hard might break them.

This is the upset result of the weekend then, looks like we’re gonna get pumped

Is it a rule of the league there can only be one in a match week?

Jenas seems to think Liverpool are resting players for their ‘big game’ in midweek. Anyone who thinks Liverpool can go and beat Madrid away by 4 goals is in for a shock.
