My take on ward is he is arrogant as well as crap. Having taken my nipper down to the ground early a couple of times last season to get some photos and autographs. Ward completely  blanked the kids on both occasions,  almost all the others came over and did their bit. Special mention to mark Albrighton  who was great with the young fans, also Barnes and kel who just radiates happiness. 

Tricky one for Ward, if he goes over to fans wanting to do autographs he could be criticised for being Billy Big B0llocks when he's nowhere near playing.

Essentially they classed him as a number 1 who was happy to be a backup and earn a number 1 wage. 
 

Being a backup keeper is a great gig. You rarely get your hands dirty and every now again get the chance to be a hero

He was well thought of at Huddlesfield. 
 

He did okay for us in the few cup games he participated in.

 

He just needs to reignite his career and he needs game time to improve that form.

He's probably too settled on his salary to go elsewhere on his own accord.

Yeah, I have some sympathy for this. 

 

I'm sure he feels a bit sheepish and a bit apprehensive.

How is he going to reignite his career? The man is not a professional goalkeeper, period.

 

Not counting his shambolic cameo for Wales in the last world cup. He has been disastrous for Wales. He let in 4 goals from 4 shots on goal against Armenia at home in Cardiff, made two drops against Turkey, and now conceded 4 goals from 6 shots on goal against Slovakia, not counting the disallowed VAR howler. If VAR didn't exist, he would have several more howlers to his name.

That is absolutely not true. He’s played some  absolute blinders for Wales until recently..

There’s a reason why he’s not really been a no 1 anywhere other than loan clubs. He falls into the bracket of being good enough to stand in occasionally, but not good enough to play consistently.

He's had more good games for Wales than Leicester but he's also had some howlers. "Played some absolute blinders for Wales" is definitely an exaggeration.

Pretty sure that was the season we'd had interest in KS from a couple of top clubs and someone like Ben Hamer was our only back up at the time. It's not that we bought him, as ever with us it's the fee we paid. He'd been at Liverpool, played for Wales and had that incredible season where he was POTS for Huddersfield. I'm sure we scouted him and didn't just buy him at random......😑

Lets hope it's a grudge bias and so much so that he railroads him out of the club as his first action as manager. 

 

That would be a start to my complete turnaround in potentially totally loving the bloke

I don't think there's a single manager in the world - Rodgers apart - that would voluntarily select Ward
