40 games to get 19.

 

Very possible for him if he stays relatively injury free. At least with no European football, there will be plenty of opportunity for rotation to keep him fresh.

0 penalties in this. Next best for somebody with no penalties is Son on 139 mins/goal.

I've never come across such a large number of pessimists in one place. Vardy is an expert of knowing how to play his game to be the most effective he can be now and get the end results. The fact he hasn't had the high intensity start most high quality young professional have had, has given him the edge and enabled him to enjoy the extra years of quality premier football other players of his age haven't been able to. I wouldn't be surprised if Vardy doesn't get another 30 Premier goals before he hangs up his Premier boots.

I agree with everything but do wonder about the effects of other high intensityisms outside of football in those early days

EDIT   that was not a drug reference, just that he seems to have been a very busy boy in general

It's the biggest shame that Luke Ayling booting his knee in his comeback game has cost him another 3 months of his career. Another dozen games and he could easily have been most of the way there already.

I've changed my mind from my original vote.

 

The guy is an absolute monster. 

 

Another 50 incoming.

 

He could genuinely make 200.

 

Adapt his game, similar to Teddy Sheringham. 

 

He can play till 40.

No reason we can’t factor him in as an impact sub for 2-3 more seasons, even in that situation he’ll easily surpass 10th

Edit: Owen 326 games 150 goals

Vardy 268 games 132 goals 

I would love him to get those 18 goals next season and beat not only Owens record but so it in less games
