Newcastle going after Tarkowski (apologies if it’s already been mentioned)

If they’re going after kasper then they’ll need him and Dan burn as CB’s!

Mbappe is a weirdo, what on earth's he doing?!

£1m a week and a £100m signing on fee is his motivation mate

It’s only a further 3 years from what I’ve seen, so he’ll be able to rinse the interested parties when he’s 26 anyway. Plenty of time to play for another club. A combination of ridiculous money offered, unfinished business with the club regarding the CL and the current state of La Liga finances at the big clubs and the knock on effect of that have led him to signing a new contract.

That and the owners threatened to butcher his family pets if he didn’t sign.

Looks a really good signing for them. Doesn’t look like Gerrard trusts Douglas Luiz in the holding role, so Kamara should slot straight in for them.

quite a few UCL teams were after Kamara and he chooses a mid table EPL club

It's smart business from them, don't wait around....do the negotiations secretly and early before the official transfer window opens. Before the big clubs decide they want him.

Every club works like this. It's the agents that spread the news.

Be interesting to see what Villa wage bill is like.

It'll be ramping up, but they're still only 3 years back in the Prem so uts probably still not maxed out like ours.

True, but our revenue was £42m more than theirs in 20/21.

Add to that the signing of established PL Ings, Digne and then Coutinho

I've read the first two are on 100k plus and Coutinho is on 170k, that's around 400k a week slapped on.

Yeah something doesn't add up with them, obviously looked at the mockery Man City and Everton have made of FFP and are willing to throw a lot of owner money in and see where they end up.

Kamara was apparently asking for £150k a week in January and it is expected to not have changed much now as well

I'm very jealous I have to say. Fair play to them.

they will load the s/o fee and reduce the weekly salary to get the wages down

accountants are clever …….

It’s one of the reasons why free transfers are so attractive to both player and buying club ….
