Just had my direct debit payment schedule through

1st of every month starting on 1st July and ending 1st May

Also for anyone who is paying direct debit for multiple season tickets (like I am) the payments will come out separately for each season ticket rather than together

E.g. £50 will come out twice on the payment date rather than £100 once

Thanks for this… feel like I’m in a lose lose position though..

watched us win the league from my seat, and get on great with the people around us.

if I stay, it means I won’t be able to get a match day ticket (as all seats will be season ticket holders) for my young son who has just began to get interested after going to the Norwich game..

If you’re not taking him every week you can ring the ticket office up and relocate your ticket and buy a seat next to it. I’m in a situation with my lad, he’s desperate to go every game now, I can’t get him a season ticket so have had to do the same a few times this season. However a couple of the people I go with can’t make every game so he often bags one of their tickets.

Wonder why they changed that only to go back to it.

It doesn't seem like a hugh hike in prices, I wonder what people on the waiting lists feel?

I had my season ticket when we were Not So Good.  Then had to give it up due to working in Japan.

Back then as the older ones know it was easy to get match tickets.  You didn't need a season ticket.

If my memory serves me right, I could watch reserve games for free.  This was the pull to get the ST.

Anyways, due to success and being in the prem, every T,D and H want to go .

It must frustrate the Leicester loyal supporters, who went when we were Not So Good.

My wish is that whose who regularly attended over the years can get the chance.....

Of course I welcome proper loyal Leicester supporters too who won't turn ship if our success drops .

Similar here. The wife gave hers up when we had kids thinking it would be easy to get one again for us all once they were old enough. But then we had to go and get promoted and win the league and fa cup and charity shield and be generally good so she hasn’t got a chance at the minute.

Yes, I had one in the championship too, when it used to be that small little booklet with the orange numbered pages that would rip out each game.

Gave it up to save money for a year or two but never managed to get it back.

I miss the days of not needing to buy a ticket in advance of away games.  We often decided on a friday night to go to where ever it was that city were playing on the saturday. There were even times when we would be in the pub on Saturday morning when they opened up, and 5 mintes later someone we knew turned up in a van, asking if we wanted to go to the city game away, and off we would go, piling into the back of his work van. No seats, just crashed out on the floor of the van. Some of our best away days were a spur of the moment thing.

Yeah this.

Plus any points accumulated in the bad old days are wiped out for me. Only go to a handful of games now so usually just buy them off folk on here, until the club no doubt clamp down on that too...

My mate who I go games with mentioned exactly this the other week when I asked him about how it was "back in the day". He said they would be out in Hinckley on a Friday night and someone would say "Shall we drive to Sunderland tomorrow?" And of course all having had a few beers would agree. Then wake up Saturday morning questioning themselves

I remember on a footy tour in Yarmouth when on the Friday night one of the lads mentioned going Ipswich the next day, next morning there was a car full of us making our way without tickets no doubt about getting in. That was the hari Krishna match.

Yep,  glorious. Same for home games, just rock up. Bliss.

I had my season ticket through the torture championship years and league one. Gave it up when I left England. I could just phone the ticket office whenever I was coming back. None of the getting a membership, waiting for TV fixtures and hope for a ticket nonsense of recent years.

You’ll be fine when the ground is extended and we get relegated back to the Championship.

Back in Leicester now, so it doesn't matter anymore, I'm not going to need to choose to miss the match or my flight if the game moves from Saturday to Sunday afternoon.

Any insider knowledge of how many are being renewed. First season in many a year I can actually get a season ticket (I have membership with 50+ points) soo wondered my odds

Renewals open until 6th June, so figures won't be confirmed yet. Possibly a good few not renewing with the spiralling cost of living, in addition to the normal surrender numbers. IIRC it went down to 37/38 points last season.

I see this mentioned often but it’s not going to change STH numbers by much, it will only change by a few thousand at most

I was just joking, but explain that one to me …. are you saying we will or won’t be offering more tickets for STH?

Surely either way there will be more opportunity to get tickets. If we don’t increase STH by much there will be more available for the casual fan?

We are currently restricted to 23,000 STH in a 32,000 stadium, upgrade to 40,000 will only improve Season ticket availability by a few thousand at most

We currently have around 71% of the ground being taken up by STH.

If this continues to be the case with the expansion then we will have around 28,500 STH, so around 5500 more ST available.

I don’t see that happening as a large section of the new seats will be for hospitality

Can you relocate on the website or do you have to ring up does anyone know? Can’t seem to find what I need online but that isn’t unusual.

Edit: Found it you do have to ring up for anyone else looking to relocate.

Looking at the plans, it seems hospitality will basically mirror the west stand, and the entirety of the second tier will be general seats. Although, I thought somebody who was at one of the meetings with Whelan said she said most of the new seats would be for general sale, and the season ticket base would not be substantially enlarged? But not certain I remember correctly.
